Does he have a decent song yet?
Always liked this tune, (original version)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CI3lhyNKfo

From wiki:
"Bella ciao" is an Italian partisan song which originated during the Italian civil war .
It is used worldwide as a hymn of freedom and resistance.

Needs some lyrics of course.

quoted wrong post :)

I know this will open up the "same club" argument, but apparently he's the first Celtic manager since Willie Maley in 1914 to win his first game against a club calling themselves "Rangers" by a four-goal margin and follow it up with a win in the next derby. We've failed to do it on six occasions in the meantime. It's been 55 years since a "Rangers" manager achieved the same.

Has to be the Green Glens of Antrim, shift the lyrics to include yer man and up the tempo a wee bit!

Like the idea of the green glens of antrim

I'd be where the fans say hey uefa we'll match yer fine,
and we know we are going to do better than win nine.
Let me be in the place that is paradise to see,
and brendan from antrim is the manager for me.

And what precisely is your problem with "Here I am Lord"?

The tempo

Also think the fact we just changed vic's song to moussa's was pretty lame, seen someone on here suggest chanting his name to the chorus of music man when he first signed, would have been better

There can't be many managers who beat the old rangers in their first two games.

His defence of Gordon and taking BT to task for multiple repeats of Gordon yellow card against Allow paid off tonight. BT didn't try it again tonight. Well played Brendan.

BR: "Our thinking going into the game tonight was that prior to this we had played a lot of games."

BR: "The intensity I ask the players to play at needs to be at a high level with that variety in the game."

BR: "and the young players that came in delivered."

BR: "Emilio and guys like that haven’t played for a long time and I thought they were outstanding."

BR: "But it was a tough game. Ross County are one of the best teams we’ve played."

BR on key substitutions: "At 1-0 we just felt we needed to change the shape of our midfield to put in an extra controlling player."

BR: "We also just wanted to try to change the control of the game. It worked quite well for us."

BR on Squad: "They will be fresh for the game at the weekend."

BR: "That was the plan for tonight so it couldn’t have gone any better."

The Celtic manager also revealed the thinking behind his decision to leave captain Scott Brown out of the team...

BR: "I gave a rest to Scott Brown tonight because he became a father again for the third time."

BR: "Three boys he’s got now. He wanted to come but I said listen, look after your wife. Family is more important than football."

BR: "It’s nice for him to get a breather because he’s been absolutely incredible."

BR: "He’ll go into the game on Saturday super fresh and strong and now a father of three."

He thinks about EVERYTHING. We're very, very lucky to have this man as our manager. Long may he reign.

Didn't see the interview but that is very impressive.

Emotional intelligence is vastly underrated and BR - judging by those quotes - has plenty of it

Great time to be a Celtic fan, can't wait for the next game
