That was a Deila-esque performance from Rodgers last night.

Settle. Nowhere near as bad as Deila.

 In what way. Give us your wisdom oh wise one and tell us what he should have done :notmissingthis:

We got beat by a far superior team. No shame at all.

Headline on the back page of Murdoch's Times might have made uneasy reading for Splob.

If Deila was still in charge we wouldn't have been playing last night.

 In what way.

Looked ill prepared and mentally fragile. Team can't defend at all. BMG had our number due to being far too open and predictable.

Ill prepared and mentally fragile enough to get an excellent draw against Man City and qualify for the CL for the first time in 3 years.

Or they have better players than us.

Can't be that though, eh?

We were so predictable it wasn't funny. Not like Rodgers, who has constantly flung surprises in.

Once again showed why Rodgers wanted a creative midfielder.

Problem he has is his surprises are really Griffiths and Roberts who came on. No one else is really a potential game changer , he really needs surprises in the middle of the park. Rogic can do it in fits and starts but not consistently through the game and lacks in other areas. Mcgregor and Armstrong as surprises are the footballing equivalent of a wonder bra, looks/sounds great til it`s out of the wrapping and then it goes a bit flat.

We need to mobile central midfielders that will move into space making themself a passing option for whoever that has the ball. One should be a defensive controlling player. The other an attacking midfielder that does a fair bit of pressing as well and is cable of dropping and holding a more defensive role if defending a lead in a European game

That added and we are a fairly decent side.

Come on Santa or Peter or Desmond. That is all we need for Christmas
