Wonder if he'll stay until we get the 10? You'd think he must be loving it so far but 5 years is a big ask, even for a Celtic supporter. The appeal of a better league vs going down in history as the man who got the 1 and only 10 IAR...I'll just enjoy it while he's here s'pose.
I wouldn't bet against it. He's been in England don't forget. He was a Gerrard slip away from winning the EPL so he has nothing to prove to anyone down there in my view. Especially so after Wednesday night. He talks like someone who is here for the long haul. HAIL HAIL Brendan will still be younger than Martin was when he joined should he stay and win 10. I don't think it's unrealistic to expect him to do that before returning to a top League although there will be temptations along the way for sure.

I doubt Rodgers is in any rush to leave Celtic and if he can keep us progressing at a steady rate then we will have more money to ward off the temptation of England. Barring a top 4 club coming in with silly money he is not going anywhere.

How refreshing is it to browse KDS and the first 5 player threads are full of positive comments. In fact on the front page the only player with any negative remarks is Scott Allan. Brendan has definitely awoken something in the team and the support. And my laddie who is 9 is starting to notice the individuals in the team as well as just the results. For the last few years he could really only name Broonie and Griffiths; but now he talks to me about Sinclair, Dembele, Kolo with excitement. Thanks for that Brendan, a father may try to pass the torch but the team have to light it.

After two dark years in the doldrums under a glorified PE teacher we've got our Celtic back. The waterhsed moment for me was bringing on an extra striker against Man City with the score at 3-3 after 84 mins. Yes, yes, yes, yes. We're going out swinging baby.

I never thought we could get this guy. For all his love of Celtic I always imagined he was out of our league. Now that he's here I believe he could be around for a while. Almost with every passing statement it sounds like he can take us to places only Martin O'Neill could, and I think that's the real challenge for him. Weigh that up vs taking some non descript English club to a top four finish and it's a no brainer.
He just gets it, and I burst with pride every time I hear this guy talk. He was made for Celtic

Seriously though, if the club won't rename Lennoxtown itself, then any in-door facility should be named after Tommy.

Tommy Burns was apparently furious that the plans to make the full size indoor pitch were pulled back. Think the winter break will do is good. The international breaks have been great this season for the likes of Toure, Brown and Sinclair. Lustig, Tierney and Rogic will get a benefit from a couple of weeks off in Jan No wonder he was furious - it's an absolute farce the size of that pitch in there. Given we were starting from scratch at Lennoxtown, the fact we didn't go all bells and whistles showed a complete lack of foresight and penny pinching.
