You have to expect MC defenders to be stronger than SPFA ones - so Moussa for me.
Give him an hour and tell him he has to run himself into the ground for the team - like all the rest!
Bring on Leigh last 30 minutes - same instructions

All this talk about fitness etc over the past number of years but this is the first time I can remember a Celtic squad this big not having a single player out injured. I wonder how much of that can be attributed to the training regime of the players.

33:40 - 40:24 = Brendan interview plus Mark Lawrenson's (for once) humorous comment on Barton.
Can someone please upload the video for us outside the UK? Thanks.

I'm sure folk are fed up hearing this but...

Does anyone else pinch themselves to check they're not dreaming when you see and hear Brendan with the Celtic kit on at press conferences?

I'm in heaven with Celtic at the moment...

Aye.

It really does make a difference to all our Celtic-supporting lives having a 'real' manager in charge. A manager who won't be told what to do.

I look forward to games now, how the team and individual players will develop, future signing targets, promotion and development of youth players. Not having footballing projects like Balde foisted upon us.

We're a 'proper' football club again.

Every time. It actually improves my life. I look forward to his press conferences and can't wait for games unlike previous seasons.
The board has been underselling the size of Celtic for a while due to the signings we've made. It's brilliant to know that you weren't imagining Celtic are a big club.

Cracking wee interview with Brendan from Harry Brady today also.

https://twitter.com/HarryBradyCU/status/780875352025370624

"For me, whatever I do in the rest of my life and my career, to have managed Celtic is the ultimate is the ultimate, for me. I'm hopefully going to be working in football for the next 15 to 20 years but to have managed Glasgow Celtic and been here is an incredible honour."

HB "What do you think you can achieve here?

"I can only do my best, the club is based around winning trophies. Playing football like the way Celtic supporters enjoy which is offensive, attacking football but that always has to be with discipline and order. Win as many trophies as we possibly can and hopefully whenever I leave here, whenever that is and hopefully it's not going to be for a long time the legacy left is the football and the feeling that people got from the inside of what football gave them, that when they went home of an evening or after games it was something that made them happy."

Roaster on clyde last night. Apparently Brendan is not the man for the job, we would be better getting WGS or Lenny back as 'they goat us tae the last sixteen'

Dalziel and Gerry both heavily hinted he might be a hun. Lol

What a coach and what a mind. He even took Bitton off (gulp) and put a striker on. And we still drew!!

12 months ago we were beaten by Molde both home and away, with largely the same nucleus of players.

Tonight we've matched a team worth well over £1 billion in transfer fees alone, guided by one of the greatest coaches in football blow-for-blow.

It's really quite difficult verbalise what Rodgers has achieved in the space of about 3 months.

He's a very, very special individual.

Imagine what we will be like when he gets more of his own players. The guys all there and then some. An absolutely brilliant manager
