I'm going to go and read over the match thread when Armstrong came on - just for laughs!! Probably sounded just like everyone in my section.
 Save you time mate. Most of us thought it was baffling. And thats why none of us are managers.
Checks post history...

Might apply for my coaching badges. :hmmm:

Tactical genius.
Barring the Imps match, he has influenced and shaped each match positively throughout. Wonderful stuff. I get the impression his assistant is pretty good too.

 I bet you where a little confused at the time though. Love the man. He really is a top manager and we are lucky to have him.

Aye. It certainly raised an eyebrow.

However, I'm at the point now where I 100% trust the managers judgement. He could bring on Gordon for Griffiths and I'd still have enough faith in him to take a step back and trust the plan.

I'm 'all in' with Brendan Rodgers.

 He is the man with many plans. In the Hapoel game he got there eventually but any other game his first tactical switch or sub seems to work a treat.

I genuinely feel he will be with us for at least 5 years. He seems the kinda guy that wants to build a legacy and stamp his mark all over the club.

Great times ahead and if we are all getting carried away its because of the rubbish we have had to put up with. Am getting carried away on the Brendan love train

God I would love Brendan to stay for 10 in a row but I fear we will only have two seasons of this bliss. I hope I'm wrong.

If we're seven in a row, you don't think he'll aim for a second nine? I think you might be wrong

He's here for the long haul.

Not that I think he has any intention of using us a stepping stone back into the EPL but if he was then yesterday would've put it to bed. Occasions like that? You just don't get that down there. He's one of our own and knows how special the gig is. You can see it when he's on the touchline during YNWA.

Guys like Dembele will be offski back down south in a year or two but I honestly don't fear that's the case with Brendan.

I reckon he'll go somewhere in Europe before England again, just going by what he's said. Long way off though.

I liked how he spoke to Armstrong on Friday and told him to be ready because he felt he could play a big role. Brendan has a fantastic reading of the game, his ability to make a positive impact with subs is fantastic.

Not a slave to a particular system, not afraid to make decisions (and has got nearly every one correct so far) and has the respect and buy in of the players.

What a difference having a real manager.

2 years?

He has already managed Swansea then Liverpool, do you really think he will be rushing back to manage Stoke, West Ham and the likes when he has a crack at CL each year & a crack at 10 in a row available

Can I just say I love him? He has resurrected the club in 4 months, I hate making comparisons but it truly is MON-esque what has happened here. Theres already been 3 or 4 matches to savour this season plus weve qualified for the champions league. I hope hes here for the long haul.

The spine of the team was weak. He's come in, got a new goalie, new centre half, new centre forward and tried to get a new central midfielder. Looking forward to how we shape up when he gets his targets in for how he wants to play exactly.

In the meantime, he's getting some great performances out of players who had stumbled in the last two years, and his signings have made an immediate impact (goalie excluded as he's barely been tested yet).

The players all know exactly what their job is, which is refreshing.

And even when players are playing well, they're still at risk of going off, such as with Rogic. I have to say along with a lot of folk, I couldn't fathom the substitution out at the time. He's looking at the team rather than the individual's performance within it - although he has a ruthless streak too for anyone underperforming.

Nobody's position will be safe, and that's the way it should be.
