Bringing Stuart on I definately raised my eyebrows but he knows his players and read the game well. That and Armstring looking like a talent again underhis coaching. This guy could be something very special in our illustrious pantheon of managers.

Laughing his heid aff after the 1st goal. It's as if he knew! He knew this was the start of a 5-1 pummeling.

I've got no intention of ever procreating myself, but I might see if I can adopt an orphan somewhere so I can name it Brendan

We're going to look back on the Rodgers appointment as a really seismic moment in the history of our club.

Looking back at almost every game since he's been here, he's made changes during games either in personnel or system, or both, and it's changed the game for us. Today for example, making a big call in taking Rogic off for Armstrong when we were looking wayward in midfield, going to three at the back away to Be'er Sheva when it looked like we were going to blow it etc.

Having being used to a rigid 4-2-3-1 in recent years regardless of the circumstances with no plan B it's been brilliant to see.

Vs Astana away we're 1-0 down he brings on Bitton and we start controlling the ball a lot better. Griffiths puts us level.

Vs Astana at home it's 1-1, the crowd is very nervy and the game is on a knife edge. He brings on another striker, they play a 1-2 and we win a penalty. Through to the next round.

1-1 away against Hearts he takes off a centre mid(Armstrong) for a winger(Sinclair) and a centre half(O'Connell) for Rogic while they were having their best spell of the game. Winger scores, he then takes off a striker for an extra defender and we see the game out.

2-2 at home vs Hapoel he gambles and brings on another striker who scores a couple of minutes later. We go on to get 2 more.

Hapoel away game he switches to a back 5 and they don't get a sniff at our goal in the last 20 minutes.

And today he takes off Rogic at 2-1 while they were coming into a game for Armstrong of all people but it plugs the gaps that were beginning to show with Rogic running out of steam and gives us running power through the centre and we end up horsing them.

It's incredible the impact he's having on games from the sideline. When he's bringing guys on ( and especially in the case of Bitton and Armstrong) they're not just being brought on to "freshen things up" or being given a wee pat on the back and told good luck son. He's identified a problem in the team and given them very specific instructions and they've carried them out to a T.

I admit I was going mental at the Armstrong substitution just couldn't see why he'd done it at the time. I was wrong St Brendan!

Near the end he held his hand in front of his mouth and said something to Davis and Kennedy and they started pishing themselves and he was smirking

Wonder what he said
"we get to play this mob another three times?"
