Another good interview. Enjoy listening to him.

Interesting that he made the point about teaching the players to be tougher when faced with adversity again. I'm sure he watched games from Delia's time and noticed how easily we folded when something went against us. Such a contrast this season where we have stepped up every time we've needed to.

Could listen to him all day. If I was a player I'd run through brick walls for him.

With a bit of good fortune, something very special could be happening here.

Great interview. The man has not only proved himself tactically astute but, more importantly for a club in our position, absolutely inspirational. I wanted Moyes -- I'm delighted to say I was wrong, and that's not a reflection on Moyes, who has his own strengths. As others have said, there's an air of MON's early days about this. If Brendan stays as long as MON did, we will be unrecognisable in a few years. And we will have achieved TIAR, I have no doubt.

He wasn't my first choice, even at his unveiling I had a wee niggle. He's since proved he's the right man for the job.

Wasn't my 1st choice manager but TF we have him.

 Nor mine, and I couldn't agree more.

Cannot believe I wanted Moyes as manager :brickwall:

I agree totally with him in the sense we can't just sign anyone, has to be the ideal player but I was obviously upset we didn't do that. That's the issue for me. Why can't the club say why we didn't sign the cm he wanted? He sounds immense btw and the difference between him and Deila is already night and day!

Perhaps Celtic were not impressed with a selling club's way of doing things, but (and no laughing at the back) with every intention of trying again in January, do not want to be publically slagging off said club.

I should say that I have no inside info of any kind and am just speculating.

Completely. I was not happy myself that we didn't get a CM in as anyone who has seen us play knows we need one. The defence is having to work harder than it should. We just need to trust Brendan to do a decent job coaching the midfielders we have meantime and hopefully he will get who he wants in January.

I was at the unveiling and I thought 'please don't let this be like Hampden in 1978...'

I voted for Moyes as I thought he'd make us stuffy and hard to beat in Europe but Rodgers definitely has more aura and gravitas.

An enjoyable listen, but I have to confess the way Rodgers pronounces 'Kolo' makes me pine for Ronny.

I love him. Wanted Moyes but I was wrong; Rodgers positivity is such a contrast to Moyes dourness.

Agree and I have a hunch BR will last longer than MON and also achieve a bit more.
