Bump to avoid it leaving the homepage.

What a start he's made.

Preparation appears to be meticulous yet if he's got it wrong he's changed it. Think the supporters may need to be a little patient with what he is trying to bring in with DDV as he's putting a fair bit of faith in Brown and Bitton's ability to drop in and make the play.

A dream start, Gibraltar apart.
Couldn't hav been much better in the grand scheme of things. 2 good signings and we'll have a first team that can rip teams apart in Scotlsnd and hopefully give a good account of themselves in Europe

Fantastic start by Rodgers, he's an even better manager than I expected him to be. I wanted Moyes but I hold my hands up and say we've got the right man at the helm.

Two clean sheets in our opening 10 games is the only issue we need to address going forward.

You'd think you'd have faith in the players he wants to bring in then! :bawman:

Has the first time finishing improved dramatically this season? I know they've always been capable off it but Forrest and Griffiths finishing has been top drawer past few games. Confidence? or are the guys doing drills which actually improve their game?

You can tell by the signings that he has taken a lot of control away from Lawwell and Park. Delighted with that.

Our previous managers didn't have the same clout. Rodgers won't have signings made for him.

Really like the cut if his jib, seems very honest and knowledgeable of the game and getting Kolo in was a master stroke, genuinely more excited about Celtic than I have been since MON so hopefully good times ahead also my mate Benny now only responds to Brendan

here we go ten in a row

x2 We are getting to see a good manager able to shape a team the way he wants it to be instead of being at the mercy of whatever loanee or project Lawell and Park unearth. What a breath of fresh air. :chuffed:

May have been mentioned before and hope I am not jinxing it but our penalty conversion rate has improved under Brendan Rodgers. Not sure when we last scored 3 in a row.

Never mind that Gordon even managed to save one!

Excellent strike rate. I think Rogic has hit the bar a few times, Griffiths too, bodes well.

Got to love this guys ruthlesness.

A new right back in (probably) a week after Beer Sheva. Johansen out the door. Armstrong, Gordon, Ambrose and the like out of the first team.

A sure sign that average won't be tolerated anymore.

Aye. Was just about to post similar.

Delighted that some who just coasted along at Celtic have been identified and shipped out in the first transfer window. Positions strenghtened too.

Right, since it's looking like that's us in terms of transfer business, it's down to Rodgers to get the best out of what we have. Like everyone else, I really think we needed another midfielder, but Brown has started this season like a new player and it wasn't so long ago Bitton was being talked about as a potential £10m player. If the change in Forrest and Brown is anything to go by, Rodgers may yet be able to get Bitton going again, and if he can then we're in good shape. Onwards and upwards.
