He's not going to get everything right, and he isn't helped by the fact he inherited a shower of cowards. But it's a marathon, not a sprint, and he's secured CL football at the first attempt, which we all know is no mean feat.

Now back him with the cash and gut some of the deadwood from this squad.

he's still to alleviate my fear of his ability to organise a defence.

Couple of clean sheets would be lovely.
Mibbie next game, eh, Brendan?

I think he thought the first leg scoreline would give the players confidence to go out and play a bit, hence the overconfident line up, footered too much from the first leg......and always,Brendan, always get your best effing players on the park when available.

Apart from that fecking great achievement getting us in at the first time of asking!

Starting 11 was poor but his final change was important.

That along with his changes in the first leg and it's got us through

That was bad Rodgers. But he's not helped by the squad. We desperately need a right back and a defensive midfielder hopefully he sees that.

He was a disgrace tonight. Totally mismanaged the game and his subs were appalling. If he was a player he'd be fined a week's wages for letting Janko finish the game. Sviatchenko changed the game, and is quality, but if he's able to play why the flying eff would you not bring him on for Janko at half time. Then there's no clash between Janko and butter wrists and it's a quiet, straightforward second half that doesn't nearly cost us 20 million quid.

Needs a whole midfield. Wonder if he will come out and tell us Brown's pass completion tonight? I'm going to hazard a guess at 12%. Probably lower. Biton is a big coward and MacGregor not good enough. Spend the champions league money on a new midfield which isn't full of spineless bottlers

After the Imps game I was saying 'he'll need a year'.

He needed a month and a bit and we're in the Champions League.

Congrats Brendan!

Just before the Dawn

Major errors in selection and tactics nearly cost us. How he left Janko on the pitch is beyond me. The change to three at the back just about restored confidence, but he knows he got away with a bad one

All about getting through and he has somehow managed to get this lot into the CL.

Made crucial changes (eventually in tonight's case) that secured the required results, easy peasy.
