"as well as the likes of Kris Commons and Charlie Mulgrew, who didn’t figure – have had a lot of criticism over the last two years."

One has been punted out the door and the other is not even remotely close to being involved in Rodgers plans.

As for Brown and Forrest - Forrest was injured as usual for large spells of Ronny's time, Brown did feature and was on the main shampooe like everyone else on the team.

Just concentrate on Hibs, Neil.
More revisionism.

Ronny had two seasons here. Brown was excellent for the first, shampooe for the second.

Funnily enough Forrest said the team is much fitter than it was last season. Credit to Rodgers for that.

Don't see Forrest getting the treatment on this view though.

Well I suppose if you are willing to actually do your job now and your job entails a lot of running around then you would get fitter.

Disappointed in some of the stuff about NL in here.

Bottom line is NL is a Celtic supporter and when he left us that never stopped. I'm sure the last two years hurt him as much as it hurt us and he's only saying what alot of us now say and know. Even our first team players are comparing this year and manager to last year and last years manager.

Those comments from Lennon are disappointing. Delia came here, he wasn't good enough, and he left. I'm in no doubt Mulgrew and Commons were bitching to Lennon about Deila but to publicly say as much and go one further by basically laying all the blame at Deila's door is very sad.

Mulgrew and Commons didn't try a leg when Deila was here. Regardless of whether they liked him or not, they are paid employees of a club we all pump our hard earned money into. They owed it to us to give it their best shot. They didn't. They bitched, they moaned, and had public meltdowns. Pretty much goes for everyone in the squad aside from three players.

I'm glad they're both finished.

Yes but he said the team.

If only you could read properly.

And my point wasn't just about Forrest but about a number of players who put way less effort in that they should have been.

But just you carry on being a carrot

What a tedious rent-a-gub Lennon has become.
Lenny desperately trying to remain relevant whilst managing a Championship club.

He's been in the media a lot over the last few weeks talking almost exclusively about Celtic. I wonder what Hibs fans make of it all.

Lennon should probably concentrate on the job he has. Seems odd he wants to keep chirping about Celtic while he is managing another Premier League club. That said, perhaos he was entitled the way Deila undermined him and his team in the press from the get go. As every day passes I am more and more relieved Ronny Deila is out the effin door.
EDIT; Premier League club. :suspect:

I agree. We've had a fair amount of fun on here over the years as Barry Ferguson, nominally the manager of Clyde, breathlessly gives us the benefit of his wisdom on all matters Sevco.

Neil Lennon should be concentrating on his actual job, not the one he'd like to have.

He said that he's still trying to rectify Mowbray's mess - to which WGS waded in saying `it was my mess, right`.

MON CGAF about the whole thing.

By the way, even if it is a bit weird that Lenny has been talking about us so much, his appearance on Sportsound last week was a good listen and worth catching up on the podcast.

If memory serves Lennon undermined Deila first. I think he had been in the door a few days then Lennon casually mentioned to the papers that Deila was meant to be his assistant. There was no need to bring it up and as far as I'm aware the press had no idea that was the case either. As a result Deila had to answer questions on the subject which put him under pressure right away.

Lennon knows how hard the Celtic job is. I have no idea what possessed him to do that other than maybe resentment (at the time he wasn't getting the job offers he had hoped for). Deila latterly questioned the fitness of the team. I wonder if that was in retaliation.

What undermined Deila was not the fact he was to replace Mjallby as number two six months earlier. It was that he was not the first choice to replace Lennon as stated by the club and was to be assistant to Roy Keane - none of which was revealed by Lennon.
