Rodgers in the sun today speaking about how he has given a few players extra time off to allow them to see their child's first day at school.

It's a simple little thing but it's one players will be very grateful for and will really get them onside.
That'll be Griffiths out for month.... :ph43r:

“Hopefully, the players have positive experiences they can take in having learned from the past.”

Brendan talking about qualifying for CL.
I really hope he honestly knows how much of a bunch of shampoo bags he's got & how woeful they have been - especially in Europe.
If he really can turn them around, then he'll be right up there with the best of managers we've ever had.
However, the board have utterly hung him out to dry - in putting him in the situation of having to hope his players have learned their lessons.
Previous experience tells me that they can't, especially concerning defending corners.

So, if he gets us into the CL proper. He's absolutely proven that he deserves to be backed further by the board.
  hung him out to dry

I love how everytime he's made a tactical change so far it has worked in our favour and changed the game.

This guy is phenomenal.

Sutton seems to like this guy so far. But always follows it up with a trashing of Deila.

Surely some credit to Ronnie Deila here. This is exactly how he said he was going to have us playing. Pressing high, expansive football with pace. He obviously left some notes for Brendan.

Seriously though, when was the last time we passed the ball this well?? For me its the quick and intricate 1-2's that were seeing throughout the midfield. Everyone looks so comfortable on the ball...absolute miles ahead of where we were the last two seasons.

Really looking forward to seeing if we can replicate this passing and play as the opposition toughens. Very exciting times.

A ballsy ballsy guy.

Very exciting we look like scoring every time we go forward at the minute.

The only criticism I have about him is I wish he would hire a defensive coach. I know he has never had one in his career and he tries to do it all himself but I think we do need one

It's strange having a manager that appears to know how to spot when things need changed and how best to change them.

We'd have totally folded a few months ago.

Need to tighten up the defence, but. :twitch:
