Getting on a bit

I hope the fans do take on board what he says & calm down.

Not sure what's making folk get so cranky? It seems especially bad just now.

Watching the game last week, Ambrose had the ball & no-one near him - folk in the boozer shouting "get rid of it" or anytime Forrest cut back, the moaning started.

The Dembele thread on here was hysterical. A couple of games & no goals - enough for folk to start writing him off.

My uncle ran through the whole team before kick off & slated every one of the players apart from Tierney & Griffiths.

I guess everyone's still on edge after Ronny, but let's hope folk everyone realises we've got a manager we can trust & who knows what he's doing.

The last two years and its series of disappointments and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory so many times have made everyone a bit short on patience and confidence in this squad.
If BR can get a run of results and a few signings that will fade.

wonder if he will rethink his squad size ideas given the number of injuries we've had and the tension he's now seen around these games. :ponder:

i thought watching on tv that the crowd were getting restless because big Kolo a few times had attempted to distribute but nobody from the midfield were showing for the ball so he ended up having to go his side did any one else catch that?

That's pretty much it for me. We've been disappointed in this squad too many times, more confidence in the team comes when the team earns it.

It also doesn't help when two of your midfield 3 don't know how to move off the ball. Movement last night was non-existent for most of the game.

BR on if he's asked Nir Bitton about Hapoel Be'er Sheva and what the midfielder said: "Yes. None of your business."

Reading between the lines on the tweets from BR re Mulgrew, Charlie won't be signing a new contract.

It was the same after Barnes was in charge. The fans don't trust the squad yet. Going on the last two years you can see why.

The trust has to be earned. If the team qualify and win a couple of home games in the group stages you'll see a change.

Mulgrew :twitch:

I'd feel happier if he was training elsewhere...

I wonder what he's looking for in terms of wages - Aberdeen and Hearts could use someone like him, probably out of their price range mind.

It's not about trust it's about the same players continuing to make the same mistakes they have been for years now.

The fans aren't now going to find patience for guys like Ambrose and Forrest who do the same things week in week out.

They will if the team start winning big games again.

Ambrose is finished anyway and Forrest is probably going as well.
