Last night they had a corner and we had Griffiths, Roberts and Forrest on the half way line. I like that, a lot.

The substitutions where spot on, again, last night.

He was correct in what he said post match about the moaning with the backward passes.

Good start.
My mate next to me at the match said the same thing re the set up from a defensive corner. Few times last season we had no one up top. He needs supported now by the board to try and get us back into these group stages

It drove me insane last season, every corner we had 11 men defending our box

I've noticed that he always stays calm on the touchline, which helps the players I think.
Deila stayed calm and this forum criticized him for it.

This place is mental, the hypocrisy runs deep.

He's clearly a very good manager but he has been ever so slightly lucky thus far with the progression. I think that had the players he wants been delivered that wouldn't have been an issue.

His point about the fans' impatience is fair. MON made similar pleas.

Personally, I feel my frustration was reasonable given that a lot of the time the ball was being knocked back to the goalkeeper and then thumped up to lose possession. The problem was the lack of willingness/ability of Armstong, McGregor and then johansen to make themselves available for a pass from the back.

Toure was impressive but was forced to drive forward himself because there was no pass on.

Retaining possession of the ball is out biggest weakness in Europe. Playing the ball back to the keeper who then loses possession from a long kick isn't a remedy

Yeah we REALLY need someone in the Allen mode who can drop deep, turn and look for a pass. Though to be fair maybe that just moves the issue further up the pitch? If the guys on either side or up front are static then whoever has the ball has a problem.

I thought BR did well again last night and he was spot on about the moaning. Guy behind me cursed O'Connell for not winning a header, a millisecond later the young laddie had caught the ball on his foot, spun away from the Astana player and played it out to McGregor. Was feckin sublime! Guys were moaning when the ball was launched and moaning when it was passed around. Conclusion is....fans moan. It's not new.

Ronny Deila looked calm? Behave yourself, he always looked stressed outnhis box, as soon as something went against us he looked defeated, Rodgers looks composed and confident he has an aura about him that Ronny will likely never have.

Aye, that too. Basically looked like most of us in the stands, angry, worried and confused. Against both Lincoln and Astana BR has stayed composed when something has gone wrong and that seems to help the squad, who we know are prone to mental fragility.

He has done his part up until now. He has taken last years team and got to the last qualifier. It's time to back him and let him finish the job with his own team.

Tend to agree, Ronny looked utterly fried and scared most of the time - he was up against it from the get go and his demeanour didn't help him.
