Rodgers post match interview did have a bit of the Ronny about it. Mind you, Strachan used to do the same no matter how bad the team were.

MON never publicly attacked the team but at least you could see he was absolutely raging when they let him down. I really hope Rodgers tore them in pieces. If he didn't they'll begin to think that level of performance is acceptable.
Name a manager who publicly calls out his players and almost certainly you'll name a failure of a manager.

He needs, one way or another, to get rid of Mulgrew, Brown, Commons, Johansen, Ciftci, Bitton, Lustig, Ambrose and Forrest asap.

There is a malaise and an apathy eating away at the club, and the senior players apathy and lack of effort to remedy the situation is repulsive. I despise the lot of them, some more than others.

Just finished reading Luis Suarez's autobiography. His thoughts on Brendan were interesting. Suarez felt he was a breath of fresh air when he joined the club and his methods and knowledge were superb. However, the reign started badly and the feel good factor was lost immediately- he lost 3-0 in his first PL match and failed to win the next four. Players struggled to adapt to his short passing philosophy but when they got to grips with it they began to play attractive effective football. I think we are in for a difficult few weeks and it may cost us CL football again but if we are patient it will work out in the longer term.
You sat up all night reading a biography to work that out?

Well done Sherlock.
If you read more often, you might work out how to punctuate a sentence correctly.

 I can see where this one is going to go.

Think this was the first session back after tuesday and looks like the numbers have been trimmed. Judging by the photos put on by the twitter feed this morin the group looks more compact which is a releif. Maybe there is some truth that one or two have beentold they are surplus to requirements.

BR looked about ready to burst a blood vessel as the game went on the other night, any time he was in camera, he was just standing there, jaw clenched, looking furious and probably unable to believe what he was seeing. I'm sure he delivered a few home truths to those that needed it after the game.
Deflecting attention away from the players and onto yourself is good management.

Hard to tell with the photos, but i certainly hope this is true - Bitton and Ambrose being the most guilty of eff aboutery.

Shouting at the stupid ***** and telling them what to do might also help.

Is there anything to be read into the fact that Armstrong held that press conference and not Brown?

Might turn out that way but not in itself, no. The PC duties are shared.

Just looked at this - unfortunately it also has a photo of Commons accompanied by the following headline - "Fresh trim and ready to go! Kris Commons also takes part in today's training"

Looks like he had a very compact group of players he was working with in particular - I know it's just a snippet, but give me something to cling onto...

Most encouraging is that Bitton and Ambrose aren't anywhere to be seen, hopefully they've been told to find work elsewhere.

Very promising re:Bitton and Ambrose not appearing to train with the first team. I'm assuming we would have heard in the presser if they had picked up any injuries?

That video backs up the pictures. Definitely a smaller group. Makes sense as its sleeves up time. Brendan, out of professional respect, had to be seen to be given everyone a fair crack at it. Honeymoon period is over and hopefully he has shown his managerial credentials by trimming the squad of players who are not good enough or don't have the heart fot it ie bitton.

His biggest mistake so far is not getting Mulgrew in for the qualifiers.
Nice trolling there.
