Rodgers will no doubt be pleased we have so many ball players in the team. Young guys who want to be in possession and a quick and move well.

Hopefully he recognises that what we need is a stronger, more physical presence to accompany that.
agree. even just one strong quality addition in CM would make a huge difference to our our whole team

defence and attack will be strengthened aswell obviously but would be happy if we spent a large part of our budget on a cm who is tough as nails and can play a bit
We've been desperate for a Wanyama type since we sold him
That's our problem, the "strategy" sees our best players sold as soon as they become our best players.

Then it's very difficult to replace them.

Hoping that the focus on quality youth & bringing through our own can help us keep them a bit longer.

No idea who to get in the DCM role, Bitton & Brown aren't up to it...

Was Rodgers not already sounded out about the England job and decided to come here instead? Was certainly the rumour.
He turned them down because he had "unfinished business at club level." He certainly seems to have his admirers at the FA, and the English media are talking about him quite a bit, though fortunately it's extremely unlikely he'd leave after 40 odd days in the job. His media conference today should be interesting.

Just goes to show the coup the club have pulled off by bringing him here.
Coup. Entirely agree.

Very fortunate. Indeed.

Articles all over Internet linking him to England.

More a point on his coaching staff but going by what broony had been saying to Celtic TV we seem to have formed a good backroom team, even if as he says glen driscoll has a thing for his whistle. Positive to hear, and going by the pictures from today there seems to be alot of the guys working in the background who we aren't really aware of. Player engagement is key and it seems to be happening.

We'll be continuing with zonal marking next season I'm told. Brendan's decision, not JK for those who questioned his input every time we lost a goal in Europe.

ZM is not the prob per se, Our execution of it is. What does JK, as defence coach, do? Genuine question.

Some old Zonal Marking match reviews of Brendan Rodgers teams. Shows a good variety of formations and some pragmatism and more cautious line ups at times.
