Fella posted a song on facebook about him.

Quote:

Theres only one Brendan Rodgers
He says the Huns are Tax Dodgers
He says he runs the show
He'll win us ten in a row
Walking in a Rodgers wonderland

Not sure why we need a mention of the huns in it right enough.

Because any 'walking in a X wonderland' song is usually thought up by obsessive mouthbreathers
Bit harsh, but point taken.

It's no Rodgers and Hammerstein, Rodgers did pen one called 'Pal Joey' :suspect: 'Joey is an opportunistic cad, but he always seems to land on his feet. He elbows his way into a job at a seedy football club' :o

Haha I'd like to extend that to any support though - not Celtic alone. It's just another Sloop John B effort, and now this "We've got McGinn/Payet/anyone" shampooe too.

A bit of creativity goes a long way!

In my 2 years of going to Queens I've only ever seen 1 guy in a Celtic top, in the last 2 days I've seen 3. I'm calling it the BR effect! :rocker: All the part timers coming back it seems!
I'm in their gym all the time with Celtic gear on :suspect:
Yeah but Im never there

to the tune of the jackie-mac song;

His name is Brendan Rodgers,

He's a diehard Celtic man,

He's come to manage Celtic,

And we hope ye understand,

His name is Brendan Rodgers,

He's here to build a team,

He's come to Glasgow Celtic and he's proud to wear the green!

Most of the tunes actually stem from us, in the UK anyway.

We started the Achy Breaky Heart song with McCourt and now every team up and down the country seem to sing it. Same with JCGE.

Reading that article about Chris, all the games he's watched, looking at strengths & weaknesses of players - tactical awareness, attitude even.
He should be able to offer up some really good potential signings.

Sounds like we'll have a very thorough & dedicated coaching team.
I genuinely hope that they don't suffer fools easily & aren't afraid to cut out the underachievers.

I like it. They are still huns, and they are still despicable. Reminding them of that is never a bad thing. Although I am a big fan of Celtic fans taking the high ground, we don't need to be totally PC. Letting the sevco hun scum knowing they died an dishonourable death is a good thing.

Not an issue with slagging of huns per se, I just want a song about our manager to be about him and Celtic. No need to sully it with mentioning the scum.
