Someone else who had his career cut short through injury I read there.
Hadn't heard of him until now.
Welcome aboard. 🍀

In my 2 years of going to Queens I've only ever seen 1 guy in a Celtic top, in the last 2 days I've seen 3. I'm calling it the BR effect! :rocker: All the part timers coming back it seems!
Do they allow people to wear celtic / rangers stuff? My Tech seen them as "Sectarian".

There are no rangers/sevco tops as they are not educated enough to attend university

Happy about this, if only for the new-found enthusiasm among the support. That is good enough reason in itself. Hope he is willing to try different ways of playing, at Swansea he was very stubborn. We might need different approaches in Europe and domestically. Agree with those who say that this isn't a complete break from Deila, the two have similarities in how they like to play.

i'd imagine it's a pretty massive step up from head of opposition analysis to assistant manager

iirc that was Villas-Boas' role under Mourinho and he's done not too bad for himself as a manager.

His position at Reading was 1st team coach, Rodgers obviously feels he's got what it takes to make the step up so time to back him

Take another step back and you'll find that's what Mourinho did under Bobby Robson at Barca when he get the step up from being a translator.

Was also part of Giggs remit as "assistant manager" to LVG. He had to set up an 11s team each Thursday to play as if they were the weekend opposition, for the first 11 to play against.

Welcome aboard. 🍀
Rodgers, Davies and John Kennedy's careers all cut short through injury (both knee injuries in BR and JK's case).

Couldn't really see Brendan getting rid of Kennedy (even before he confirmed he's be staying at the press conference). Hopeflly JK can learn under these guys

Fella posted a song on facebook about him.

Theres only one Brendan Rodgers
He says the Huns are Tax Dodgers
He says he runs the show
He'll win us ten in a row
Walking in a Rodgers wonderland

Not sure why we need a mention of the huns in it right enough.

Because any 'walking in a X wonderland' song is usually thought up by obsessive mouthbreathers
