Right, the twirly scarf bit? Likey or no likey?

He's a man we can't multi task walking and holding scarf above our heads at same time beyond us......as long as he doesn't do it again
It's his first day, he didn't know what he was doing. He'll learn.

Seems like the references to conversations with DD back up my info that it was DD who decided to go after BR with a passion. The reason he sought him out so vigorously apparently was down to the behaviour of the Rangers contingent in the hospitality area shared by both teams after the SC Semi-final. Their behaviour was compared to the hordes that were occupying the West stand that day and DD and his family were furious at the lack of respect and decorum normally reserved for the shared area. Looks like his statement of intent with BR backs up what was described to me as "That ain't ever happening again" Rangers Board and accomplices once again look to have shot themselves in the foot and done the supporters of CFC another massive favour.
This seems to be growing arms and legs - He was out of his seat and out of the ground before a penalty was hit.

Not a chance.

Is it just me or is anyone else heartened that everytime money was mentioned that Brendan although mentioning Pistol Pete kept referring back to assurances/discussions with Dermot.
Sounds promising.
Aye Lawwell said he only met him a week ago, DD must have done the groundwork by then
Lawwell is still in denial that his project didn't work

He spouts the stuff about manager having full power etc when everyone knows that hasn't been case at least since strachsn

His response to the hindsight question was excruciating - just once just once peter you might realise that you would benefit from showing some humility

Anyhow times up for PL and Bankier - I'm placing my faith in the Irish - DD, BR and BRsFA

Enough to get yer season book back? ;)
It's under very serious consideration.

Whilst I'm still very unhappy with Lawwell, this is a monumental step in the right direction.

growing up it as always a Hun thing they did during YNWA.

I've noticed the GB do it.

Don't like it or the 10 in a row chant. We're only at 5.

5 years is a lifetime in football.
always associated the scarf twirling more with hearts fans although they dont seem to do it much these days

I know he'd be on insane money at utd, it would be worth an enquiry at least.

I found him to be a nice man, quieter type than I expected. A little shy even. Not the arrogant, egotist some had tried to lead us to believe. I think he is truly humbled to be where he is now. But I also saw a determined look in his eyes when he was talking of making sure that upper Lisbon Lions stand stays open and the stadium is full of fans watching attractive, winning football.
He reminded me a little of The Maestro. :)

Was Griffiths there? I missed that part as I was driving - what did he say?
Griffiths was interviewed earlier by the Celtic TV girl. I think he said he hopes to be Celtic's Louis Suarez. No, he didn't. He just said the players are buzzing and looking forward to the new season under "one of the top managers in football".

He certainly didn''t look like the cat that got the cream today - Almost the opposite in fact.

Not involved until DD had his man in the bag would seem to be DD ensuring there was no feck up as per his previous record - If he is still peddling his Deila Project pish then no other carrot is listening to him.

Time for Celtic to move on and recover from his handiwork post MON - Question is will the CEO be moving on?

Bit of togetherness and good will at long last, first couple of signings and hopefully player sales will really get things going - expecting very healthy ST sales in the next few days too.

Can I just say though, I won't be singing 'Brendan Rodgers Fenian Army'

Cause I'm an not one nor am I in any army - and as its just cause he's from Ireland quite frankly, it's a bit shampoo - same when it was Paddy McCourts
 Couldn't agree more.
+1 Brendan Rodgers green and white army sounds better.

Huns took the lead twice, though. There was ample opportunity for the zombies to make a carrot of themselves before the shoot-out?

However, I can't believe that Desmond would be satisfied with a sub-standard Celtic so long as the Huns were 'dignified' in their victory.

Great scenes. Hope he qualifies for the CL or would be pretty depressing know that back of that. It's definitely a tough ask and usually we are shampooe under a new boss' first season in Europe. We are due someone to come in and storm it
It shouldnt be difficult though. We are in the "easier" side of the draw. With a semi competent manager and proper backing we should walk into the CL.
I think CL qualification will be a real challenge this year.

I dont

Rodgers will have a fair idea of who he wants to bring in and will want to hit the ground running.
