Can't quite find the words, but there was a real feeling of 'newness' about Celtic today.

Really feels like we're going places under Rodgers. I've never seen the support truly united like this before. Everyone seems to be pulling in the same direction. :)
Enough to get yer season book back? ;)

Brendans talk of dominating scottish football and making a mark in europe, makes me think that DD has promised him some decent cash to spend.

Seems like the references to conversations with DD back up my info that it was DD who decided to go after BR with a passion. The reason he sought him out so vigorously apparently was down to the behaviour of the Rangers contingent in the hospitality area shared by both teams after the SC Semi-final. Their behaviour was compared to the hordes that were occupying the West stand that day and DD and his family were furious at the lack of respect and decorum normally reserved for the shared area. Looks like his statement of intent with BR backs up what was described to me as "That ain't ever happening again" Rangers Board and accomplices once again look to have shot themselves in the foot and done the supporters of CFC another massive favour.

Utterly buzzing! Couldn't hear what was said in the JS stand, but his line about making the top tier of the LL stand no longer redundant stuck the nail in the head after watching that video.

Welcome to Paradise Brendan!

I found him to be a nice man, quieter type than I expected. A little shy even. Not the arrogant, egotist some had tried to lead us to believe. I think he is truly humbled to be where he is now. But I also saw a determined look in his eyes when he was talking of making sure that upper Lisbon Lions stand stays open and the stadium is full of fans watching attractive, winning football.

The passion , the buzz. Never seen celtic family as a whole United in such a way. 60,000 every 2nd week. Like it should be. I can see it happening

Absolutely, this was the part that really stuck out for me. I couldn't believe he addressed that particularly large elephant in the room.

Good on him, though.

You can't appoint someone like Rodgers and not back him. I think we're going to spend decent money this summer, and hopefully we get a little extra cash by offloading some of the deadwood.

He reminded me a little of The Maestro. :)

Was Griffiths there? I missed that part as I was driving - what did he say?

Bit of togetherness and good will at long last, first couple of signings and hopefully player sales will really get things going - expecting very healthy ST sales in the next few days too.

Can I just say though, I won't be singing 'Brendan Rodgers Fenian Army'

Cause I'm an not one nor am I in any army - and as its just cause he's from Ireland quite frankly, it's a bit shampoo - same when it was Paddy McCourts

I'm going to suggest a spending spree in and around the £20m mark.

We could get Zlatan for 2 years with that.

Get it sorted Brendan!
