I stood outside for a bit waiting on my brother, I don't know why they were playing the Neil Lennon song and they also had some mad bastardised version of the Celtic song playing on a loop, wiznae good.
You didn't like Brendanstock? You didn't have any of the brown acid did you?

I think this must surely be a lesson for the powers that be; if they at least try to show some ambition and match the hopes and dreams of the Celtic support, people will buy into it. For far too long they have been paying lip service to the whole thing. They are paying top dollar for Rodgers but they will get the money back and then some. Finally (I hope) the penny has dropped.
Correct. It only needs an extra few thousand season tickets and we've covered the increase salary spend. And that's before you consider the hike in sales of merchandise etc. The place was rocking.

The austerity that the board have embarked upon over the last few years has cost us a fortune.

Wailer get in the feel good zone ffs
 Totally buzzing but that loop made my wait :twitch: Must have phoned my brother about 8 times telling him to hurry up.

Great atmosphere inside. :rocker:
Yes excellent atmosphere, I also think the standing section will be a big
plus for the ground ,it looked a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

It says a lot about that we have more fans show up for the unveiling of a new manager than most SPFL teams have attend league games

There's clearly a bit of buzz and anticipation around the club again which has pretty much been missing since we went out of Europe

A few decent early signings and everyone should be happy again

Nephew is already touting his ticket to our clan at £50 per game, I could be interested.

Looks like it will be amazing in that section.

The support have always been willing to invest in the team but in the last few years the purchase of season tickets etc seemed to be an investment in the personal wealth of some undeserving individuals. This appointment looks like a solid investment in the future of the club and that's something we can all buy into.

Do you think it's just coincidence that rangers are in the league and the board ha taken this approach?
Had they not gained promotion and Ronny left would we have ended up with a Lambert or McKay and continued along the previous couple seasons pass?

I honestly think that is the case, they've looked at them coming up as a commercial opportunity (increased coverage with the celtic v rangers games), supporter apathy and the fact we haven't built on their absence and realised they had to do something pretty big (in terms of Scottish football)

Going out and getting an EPL manager and making him the highest paid is a big statement of intent

Don't get me wrong, there in a lot of pressure on BR to have a measure of success in Europe now but that is why he's the highest paid in the league
