That it finished? What are they going to do for the next hour and twenty minutes before he goes onto the pitch at 6pm?

Interview with Summer in that taste explosion of a studio. No wonder he says it's a bit surreal.
Written media usually get a Q&A session after the TV / radio.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Lawwell said they'd have a break then get the other lads in

The press conference was a bit bizarre to be honest.

The press are an absolute shower and the questions were predictably abysmal. Rodgers dealt with it well. He looked absolutely bemused at the cringeworthy questions about Steven Gerrard and Mourinho.

He gave a perfect "you lot must think I'm effing daft" look after the Mourinho question.

I like him.

He knows what the club is all about. That'll do for starters.

I think there are still tickets left for Bankier's gig at The Stand this evening.

I missed the Mourinho question, what was it? Was listening whilst driving and it cut off a few times.

Thought he spoke very well though. Delighted to hear the bit about looking to the youth.

Jeez. What a bunch of killjoys the press were. Curb your enthusiasm right enough.

Cautiously optimistic and like how he handled that, so by the looks of it he gets us and with that, what we are up against, so that's half the battle IMO.

Good chance he knows the Rebs as well. All good. :)

It's a fair point he made at the press conference though. You DID used to get a lot of cameras with film in them.

Has he been in contact?

What do you think of his return to football?

Brendan replied " has he returned?"

Next question
