Ajer needs a top centre back alongside him to make him a better player. Boyata will not do.

Brilliant news. If/when he ever leaves it will be for a club record fee - convinced of it.
Can you please show your workings.

Then we can't blame Boyata when Ajer has a poor game.

Don’t be daft, his potential alone puts him above that already.

Still available, if the warchest allows.

I think he needs to get a bit less handsy when he’s challenging for high balls. I reckon European refs won’t let him away with that in CL qualifiers.

I think he's going to be great.
Very happy!

Good news. Good player but he's got tonnes to learn. Hopefully he'll be surrounded by better centre backs next season.
Agree with all that. Player wise he has been the highlight of the season - although he has a long way to go yet.

Good news, bags of potential, steady signs of improvement and a huge amount of games under his belt for a young player already.

Look forward to him partnering Bitton/Lustig in the CL qualifiers when our annual CB injury jinx happens.

Another season of playing in that CH role and he'll be a really good defender for this team. The only thing he's lacking just now is experience so 4 more years of him is great news.

A decent young prospect, happy for him to stay.

A lot still to learn though - he can be turned pretty easily and goes to ground too often. Not the most mobile either.

His agent was talking to Wolves - even as recently as the Scottish Cup semi-final. Given Wolves are just about to enter the Premier league it gives an indication that Ajer will probably have taken a good hike in his wages.

Like Moussa, I think his head is screwed on when it comes to development.

Even when he moved here initially, he brought his maw to help him settle. I think he knows he won't get the type of experience we can give him at this stage. Playing in front of 60k demanding supporters is a good learning curve for a young player and throw in the regular European Football then it's a great place to be for young players.

What age is he now 19?

Ol' Remy will be eating some humble pie when he checks out that Defensive Action Success Rate, let me tell you.

Look, you cannot argue with science. Just admit you were wrong and move on gracefully.
