From the Celtic Bibles twitter: Kristoffer Ajer has said Brendan Rodgers used to study every performance with him while he was playing for Kilmarnock. KA: “He is incredibly vigilant when it comes to his players. When I was on loan at Kilmarnock I often got feedback and went to our training centre to go through what I did in clips of matches.” KA: “He used to text me after matches about what I did well and what needed to be improved. The feedback Brendan Rodgers gave me was invaluable.” KA: “He demands 100 percent of his players every single day and when you are in such an environment where everyone will develop all the time, you improve yourself too.” KA: “Celtic have a crazy winners mentality and the club is about showing how you can contribute to that.”

Another excellent game by Ajer in tonight victory in Albania.

Quoting the pundit: "The question is not if Ajer is going to play, but who is going to play next to him. Ajer has become a monster at Celtic, adding on 10´s of kilos with Scottish muscles"

Think he could be special he has everything. Quick strong good on the ball decent in the air. Still reckon that's the one place he can improve for his size he loses his fair share in the air but at 19 he's a exceptional talent.

He's contracted to summer 2020 according to TransferMarkt but I'd agree that he should be being spoken to about a new contract - hopefully a KT style 6 year deal. He looks to have all the attributes to go all the way to the top - physically powerful, excellent on the ball, composed.

Celtic and Scottish football have been a perfect move for Ajer and a perfect next step in his career. For adding physics and a physical way of playing, seemingly very happy with the gaffer. Add to the pluss side, fantastic atmosphere at the matches.

On the minus side, poor opposition in the Scottish league, little prestige, no dressing room stories to tell about world stars, not enough money to be sure never to be in need of medicine books again.

Ajer will be sold with more than one year left of his contract, maybe already this summer. I bet 5 pounds.

Consider him a good investment. Hard to say no when money bites your butt.

Going by Ajer and Hendrys recent performances for club and country, we might already have the centre halves we’ve been crying out for.

Good as he's been, I can't see a club bigger than us looking at him just now. He's been a regular for about half a season, and had one really good game in Europe against Zenit at home. He's not started a competitive game for Norway yet either.

Fair enough, give him credit when it is evidently due for his performances up till now but to suggest we're losing him on the back of a few decent friendly performances for Norway against middle to lower tier international teams is nonsense.

I'd hope and expect him to be signing a new deal come the summer.

Plus Ajer shared a dressing room with Kris Boyd, if he's not world class then I don't know what is :ph43r:

Hopefully get a few more years out of him as he has a lot of learning to do in the game.
