He's almost played 140 games so far, 101 club games and loads of underage games for Norway. Not bad for a teenager.

Is it just me or has he gained a wee bit more pace in the last 6 months?
You can't teach pace....
If you watch Windass' goal it's Ajer that makes up the most ground, absolutely belts it back.
Pretty sure that was Jozo mate. Ajer was running to the left of Jozo.

I was being facetious, in light of the previous long running dispute about teaching "pace".

I'd imagine things such as proper running technique and strength training can and do make players faster.

It absolutely can and does. You can coach someone to get faster. What I've yet to see is someone who is slow, become fast, it seems to be within a range for each player.

Jozo does makes the tackle, but Ajer starts behind Jozo and is almost in line with him by the time Jozo slides / Windass shoots. Point is, he's a fast effer even though he doesn't look it.

 Everyone has physical. limits. Some players need more help than others to reach their physical peak. You can make someone better at jumping but you can't make them taller..... waits for someome to say that a good coach can make someone taller or that you can't improve jumping ability

Yep, and growing the right muscles can make you faster. Ben Johnson proved that. ;)

Chariots of Fire has a scene where Harold Abrahams is bemoaning he isn't fast enough to his girlfriend. Up pops an old coach to say "Mr abrahams, I can get you two seconds faster" or something, out of the blue.
I think between rocky 3 and this we have got to the truth of the matter.

Great big player but they need to tie his hands behind his back in training. Giving away too many obvious fouls for using his hands.

I'd rather he did that than be rolled away from. This Corinthian spirit pish needs chucked. Team of cynical bassas we're wanting.

Our defenders are also inordinately punished for this. Was a few times yesterday where both the defender and that lump they had up front were at it yet 9/10 times it's the defender who is punished. Compare with Dembele challenging for anything at the other end.

Ajer playing 90 minutes and did very well in Norway´s 4-1 win over Australia tonight. He´ll be a regular starter for Norway from now on, no doubt about it.

And if Rodgers is looking for a new central defender, someone tell him to go and get Rosenborgs (and Norway´s) Tore Reginussen. He´s got everything you need: experience, pace, great looks and a pleasant personality. Løp og kjøp.

From the Celtic Bibles twitter: Kristoffer Ajer has said Brendan Rodgers used to study every performance with him while he was playing for Kilmarnock. KA: “He is incredibly vigilant when it comes to his players. When I was on loan at Kilmarnock I often got feedback and went to our training centre to go through what I did in clips of matches.” KA: “He used to text me after matches about what I did well and what needed to be improved. The feedback Brendan Rodgers gave me was invaluable.” KA: “He demands 100 percent of his players every single day and when you are in such an environment where everyone will develop all the time, you improve yourself too.” KA: “Celtic have a crazy winners mentality and the club is about showing how you can contribute to that.”

Hendry & Ajer look to be the future, add in KT & we're mostly sorted for the near future.
Need someone to help their development through games, as in on the pitch, that's why I'm surprised Compper doesn't start more.
