It was Rodgers, he insisted when he loaned him to Killie that he be played at CB.

Sure it was on here I read that, maybe from one of the Killie boys that posts sometimes.
Aye condition of his loan was that we played him centre half as Rodgers wanted him to develop as a CH for the future.

Suited us as he was outstanding. Born winner.

A rare example of the loan system really benefiting us.

Great performance from the big man last night....I had expressed fears that his lack of experience would be exposed at this level with his tendency to grab the shirt of the player he's marking and occasional poor decision making on when to carry the ball out of defence....but he was absolutely faultless last night even clearing up a couple of suicide back passes from Simunovic with minimal fuss.

The big man looks like he could be the real deal....let's hope he's with us for a good few years and not just waiting for a crack at the EPL

There is what? What was three weeks ago?
After Kilmarnock people were saying how long should we go on letting him learn from his mistakes etc.

Now immediately after a great game, it's 'don't think he'll be with us long'. Another couple of good games and folk will be adding 10m here and there to their valuation spreadsheet.

The see-saw of opinion on KDS is amazing.
Ajer?

He went off injured vs Kilmarnock in the first half. If people were having a go at him for that their mental.

Speaking of his loan at us, he seemingly was a model pro.

Stayed back for one on one sessions, even brought some of his own equipment for drills etc.

He came back from International Duty, handed McCulloch a DVD and said "watch that".

McCulloch told that story at a fans meeting I was at. Seemingly he is a very smart kid too, always reading, wanting to learn etc.

He'll go to the very top, I said that within 2 or 3 games of him playing for us.

Hates losing. I mind we lost a late goal to Aberdeen last season to lose and he literally had to get pulled up off the deck at the end as he was that annoyed.

This was one of the things that stuck out for me in his time at Kilmarnock. It would have been very easy for him not to give a eff. For a 6 month loan player to be reacting like that after a loss speaks volumes about the players winning mentality. I'm sure I seen him go off the nut a few times celebrating goals as well.

What was the DVD? highlights of the game/his performance?

Highlights of his performance, he got MOTM if I remember correctly.

Obviously he was still only new to playing CH back then so gave it to the manager to review and give tips for improvement etc.

Fans loved him too at Killie.

One blip in the second half, but overall, he defended very well and looks composed bringing the ball out from the back. Hopefully he is going to turn into a very solid and classy CB.

Starting to fill out physically and learning every game. Hopefully see him be first choice at the back and really kick on
 Starting to fill out? He's an absolute fecjkin' monster already. Great on the ball, has the World at his feet.
Yep. and i think his size may be the reason for some of those bizarre comments about him being really slow came from.

Yep he is not slow at all. Some performance last night.

I was trying to think of a funny one. Came up with Shrek 2 or Twilight: New Moon. Just went with the 'Celtic, lol' option in the end.

Aye, it was Partick Thistle. Forgot to check my wee green book before posting.

Won't do that again.
