Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Aye, I knew that. But presumably we didn't send him to Kilmarnock and their coaching staff decided to play him at centre-back without someone at Celtic saying that's what we wanted?
It was Rodgers, he insisted when he loaned him to Killie that he be played at CB.

Sure it was on here I read that, maybe from one of the Killie boys that posts sometimes.
Aye condition of his loan was that we played him centre half as Rodgers wanted him to develop as a CH for the future.

Suited us as he was outstanding. Born winner.

The loan spell at Kilmarnock did him a power of good and he’s come on a ton for it. He continues to improve and reminds me of VVD the way he can play out from the back.

Next I want to see some goals from this boy. Surely to feck a boy his size will score some headers. Also I would love to see if he can try smacking them in from 35 yards. If he can, then they will really fear him.

The only way he'll score headers is if our set piece deliveries improve, he's tall but he's not that tall

Developing superbly. Showed real discipline in his positioning and stuck to his task.

Given he has been a midfielder his ability on the ball is clearly helpful to us. The signs are positive.

Man he has some effing class about him.
Brings the ball out of defence very calm & assured, I'm not shampooting myself Efe style waiting for him to lose it.
Very clever & confident, workrate & attitude are brilliant.

Give him the KT deal & that's 2 of our back 4 sorted for years.

Starting to fill out physically and learning every game. Hopefully see him be first choice at the back and really kick on
 Starting to fill out? He's an absolute fecjkin' monster already. Great on the ball, has the World at his feet.
Yep. and i think his size may be the reason for some of those bizarre comments about him being really slow came from.

I've liked this guy since he arrived. There was something about him from the start. My only fear was that he might be another Thomas Rogne, skillful but fragile, but he has ten times the self-belief Rogne ever displayed. Our scouting department has done it again -- he's a cracker. :worthy:

I think RD had a bit hand in this transfer tbh.

He was on trial at Liverpool and quite a few other top clubs were keen to offer him a deal but he chose Celtic, because of RD iirc.

The composure and strength he shows in his play, is excellent, considering his age.

There was a few instances last night, were you could see him shouting instructions to others and screaming come on, when winning a corner/shy etc

Love him

Brilliant from Rodgers to move him to centreback, and obviously Ronny deserves credit too. Will develop into a top class centre back who can actually play the ball - so enjoy him while it lasts...

Such a mature performance, he’s still learning the position but looks so comfortable. Natural leader who has potential to be a top player.

He's been in the gym the last year or so - a big strapping lad - can play a bit as well. Great game last night. Assured performance which calms the rest of the defence.

And there it is. Three weeks ago it was, how much time do we give him, and now it's how long can we keep him.
There is what? What was three weeks ago?
After Kilmarnock people were saying how long should we go on letting him learn from his mistakes etc.

Now immediately after a great game, it's 'don't think he'll be with us long'. Another couple of good games and folk will be adding 10m here and there to their valuation spreadsheet.

The see-saw of opinion on KDS is amazing.
