Ronny would play him, like he did with KT.

C'mon Brendan give him a run of games - he's worth it.

The boy's a player, end of. A player in the mould of a George Connelly or a Pat Stanton.
He is so composed and barely lost a challenge tonight. Aye, I know it was only Thistle but this boy has it.

He got very frustrated at one point when none of the midfield were showing for the ball. This happens to our CBs all too often.

Good on the ball tonight but was not tested defensively as Partick presented no threat. Would keep hum in the team for Saturday and see how he gets on. Aberdeen will surely offer more of a challenge.

Aberdeen are guaranteed to copy Hertz, who copied Anderlecht.

Mibees we should just copy Sevco for this game..?

Good performance yet again from the big lad, and he is a BIG lad.
His ability on the ball is a major plus , and his strength and speed in the run late in the second half was very impressive. Pity he didn’t roof it from thirty yards which is exactly what he looked like he was going to do. I’d have no hesitation in playing him ahead of Simunovic in the next few games. He deserves his chance.
Second half of this season , I can see us going with a back three of Boyata, Ajer, Compper

He has earned the right to start in some bigger games for us - starting with Saturday.

We'll never know how good he is until he is regularly playing against the better opposition in the league.

Do we think his move to CB has been good for him? He looks like he could be quality in the DMC position bursting forward. Happy to say that the management team know more than me about Ajer but I'd be interested to see him in there as well at some point.

Not sure if last night is the best game to judge him,but he definitely should be getting more of a go.

I'd always felt he might suit the defensive midfielder role better than centre half, but I guess we will see in time.

Looks good. With Jozo out injured it seems a no brainer that he has to get a run now. Very string, fast and good with the ball at his feet.

Would rather have him at CB. I know he can play both but he seems like more of a CB to me. Has played well in most of the games I've seen him in. Don't see why he shouldn't start on Saturday.

He's doing very well at CB.

I just like the way he strides with the ball and he's got an eye for a forward pass. He moved into midfield for Killie a few times last season and ran the show. He's spent his whole career up until last season as a midfielder so it's impressive how he has been able to adapt at such a young age.

Getting noticed in the reserves

Really looks like he could be a player, agree with what most are saying about being on the ball and obviously his size but seems vocal too and he steps up really well. Like most would love to see him getting a run of games, he will make mistakes now and again but he is still learning the position as well and all our defenders make mistakes every other week.

Still a long way to go but to put it into perspective he is younger than bhoys like McCart and others in the development squad and has about 70 games of first team football between in Norway, Kilmarnock and now a few games with us. Majority of them not at centre half and all of his youth career further forward. Promising

Partick hardly tested us. I'd like to see him against better opposition. Looks a player.

If he keeps this up, Jozo mighr have a hard time getting his place back.
I'd be happy to see him getting more starts, and in bigger games.

He looks composed and really promising. It's a strange one, and it might be due to his size, but sometimes he looks pretty slow...but he doesn't seem to get caught out too much so maybe he isn't actually slow.
