Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
We were struggling to get in the VIP bit in The Shed when we were that age.

He plays for Celtic.

Where did it all go wrong?
Birth. Or conception maybe.

Bitton or Ajer vs Astana might be a dilemma for Brendan. Not an easy call.

None of them natural centre backs. Ajer was playing as an attacking midfielder and a central midfielder in Norway until we signed him.

Gave us that defender/extra cmf thing that VVD did.

Jozo can stop them and Ajer can play it out. Perfect.

Especially liked the bit when he got taken down from behind, after strolling through their midfield.
Killie guy had nothing left to do.
Ajer just got up & calmly went back into position.
Very level headed & cool.
Big unit, reads the game, brave & can play.

Cheers Ronny!!

He's going to be a big player for us and make us a lot of money when he decides to leave. Class.

Lets not get carried away in terms of his readiness, a defenders most important job is to defend and he was not tested in any way shape or form tonight. He's certainly a good footballer, but I'd still have Bitton playing at the back for the qualifiers.

I'd go with Ajer. MOTM v Rosenborg.

Did he not play CB for Killie the whole time he was there? :ponder:

Yeah but I believe it was BR that converted him to a CB last season. He was a midfielder in Norway and a extremely highly rated one at that. Can see why.

Ajer played very well tonight against an utterly dire Killie team, but him being MOTM against Rosenborg in the context of how we played that night wasn't a great feat.

Fantastic today, would love to see him playing with Jozo.
A few times the game opened up and I was desperate for him to carry the ball forward, think he's doing the right thing keeping it simple just now.
Some of his tackles today were fantastic as well.
Going to be a great player for us.

He's good enough to get 15-20 appearances this season and I hope he does.
