Talking to a couple of Killie fans in the pub last night, they were raving about him. They thought he was, by some distance, the best player on the park.

Elbows praising him too, quite amusing.

It's in his contract that he must be played at centre half by Killie or we can recall him.

He started off at centre half but moved into midfield due to an injury I think.

He might be back sooner than we think if they play him in midfield this weekend.

That's surely not a normal contractual obligation for a footballer is it?

Pretty sure that you can stipulate where you want a player to spend the bulk of their time playing, in a loan deal.

Well, I'm pretty sure you could do that on FM a couple of years ago. As you were

There's no way they'd break a contract & lose a player who's made such an impressive impact to their team in only 2 games - 1of which he was motm.

Elbows said that he has improved the way that they play, he'll be staying exactly where he is according to these comments (assuming that the "has to play cb" rumour is true).

Presumably now that he's registered to pray for Killie we couldn't play him if we recalled him after the window.

That happened when we sent Chris Killen to Norwich. He wasn't playing so came back to is even tho he wouldn't be allowed to play for us.

Think development loans with lower division clubs is different because we can still play youth players in various competitions

Adding to the "Killie mates" comments:

My pet Ayrshire hun told me he's good enough to improve Celtic, never mind Killie.

Looking forward to seeing more of him when he's back.

See him pretty much 3 or 4 times a week in the gym every evening working on extra conditioning...bot clearly has a great attitude and appetite to improve and be the best he can be.

You can tell he's gotten bigger since his arrival. Keep eating, smashing some weights and cardio, and the boy will turn into a beast. Not enough players do this, especially young ones. Honestly some of them are so skinny and lacking muscle mass. I think that if they put the effort in they would take their game to another level.
