What a prospect. We'll see how good he is once he gets a bit more European experience but he looks like he could be a top, top player.

Anyone not having him in our top 3 today needs laser eye surgery imo.

Against Hearts I thought he was a little off the boil for the first 15 minutes when his passes/ one twos were not coming off for him. Just another side to his character that he worked through that and ended up IMO MOTM.

He is a complete joy.

Being a full back when I was young, my Celtic hero growing up was Daniel Fergus McGrain, and Kieran has everything in his locker to get to that level.

Last year he was a great defender, his tackling is superb. He's really improved his attacking game this year, and his crosses in the second half yesterday were sensational.

You wouldn't think he's just back from a bad injury when watching him yesterday. He's got a fantastic engine as well, continually up and down the lhs.

He's destined for great things.

He has tremendous potential but was poor in the CL. BMG targeted him. He's not yet at the level many people on here believe him to be at.

His defensive positioning is suspect. Torn apart in every game in Europe this season. Even the qualifiers.

Jeez hard crowd. The boy is 19, playing his first year in the champions league in which he was up against barca,Raheem Sterling in another and an absolute whippet for BMG in a game where every single player was absolutely hopeless at home.

Give it a rest and let him enjoy his football. Torn apart in every game is absolutely nonsense talk.

To say Tierney was poor in the CL is harsh. He only played 3 games in it due to his injury.

In Barcelona he was bad but so was everyone else. Against City he was very good, although Sterling obviously proved a challenge. Against Gladbach he was underpar but again so was everyone else, and Toure was responsible for both of their goals not him.

As for your last sentence, that could apply to a certain Scottish winger regardless of how well he does or doesn't play :ph43r:

Because he's asked to be our attacking fullback to create overloads, he is usually going to be exposed at some point in a game. The other defenders and the defensive midfilelder are expected to cover him in those situations but the midfiled wasn't what it should have been (bar the brilliant Scott Brown) nor what it is now. Add in the fact that KT was carrying a shoulder injury for months that eventualy needed surgery then you can see how he wasn't as good as i believe he can be defensively at champions league level.

I expect him to be a quality continental level player when he develops, if not a world class player. THe lad has so much potential it's mouth-watering.

exactly.

poor against barca, aye it was only messi he had to deal with and the whole team were pish. Poor against BMG?? that game was lost in the midfield who were appalling and left the defence overrun. Man city he was fine.
