The Izzy thread is quite good reading...KT won't be missed.
Before anyone goes off on one, Izzy was an absolute nightmare before KT took his place.

Maybe the wrong wording, but for anybody who thinks "Izzy looks in good shape" is in for a big shock.

Our play was absolutely drastic before Deila left. Izzy wasn't been done any favours playing alongside boyata, in a system that was getting found out and left unchanged.

Gutted for Tierney but more than happy for izzy to step in. Much easier for a player to come in and play well in a team playing well. Let's not forget that before Della turned up and started ruining the performance levels of players all across the squad izzy was well loved by the vast majority of the Celtic support

What is the point in that post? We will just have to get on with it and Izzy will have to do his best

We've lost one of our best players. No one is happy about it.

Izzy is well liked by most of our fans. He has also shown enough in his time here to prove he is more than capable of doing a job domestically. He was rotten at times under Deila but you will be hard pushed to name many who were not. Brown and Forrest are like different players since Rodgers arrived so there is no reason why Izzy can't regain some of the form he has shown in the past. I don't think he will fail for lack of trying.

Most posters are trying to take the positivies from a shampoo situation. You seem to be waiting for Izzy to fail before he's had a chance.

Slightest tiny wee positive is that the winter break will give him more time to recover without missing as many games.

Far from the end of the world for a 19 year old, and his recovery will be in great hands. Hope all goes well and maybe the time is now to get his shoulder sorted. Get well soon Kieran.

He'll be back flying into tackles soon enough. Shame for him to miss some big games.
