What a player this kid is. Relentless at going forward, always providing an option but great in the final 3rd with his passing and use of space.

I think some fans havent grasped just how much work Tierney is being asked to do on that left side. He will get exposed by better teams but in the main it isnt down to his lack of talent or him having a bad game. Its a tactical decision from our manager who must think over the course of a seazon it is better to play the way we are.

Tierney must be commended on his improved fitness. Although he was very young when he broke into team he often didnt finish games or if he did he looked shattered. Now he is doing probably the most physically demanding job in our team and he looks strong at the end of games.

I absolutely love Kieran Tierney. You could see just how much this means to him, both after the semi-final, and after the final whistle yesterday. He'll be captain some day.

My only criticism is that Rodgers has his full backs playing very tight to the centre backs when defending, curtailing their ability to get out and press attackers and stop crosses. Tavernier had a lot of time to pick out a ball to Miller, and with Lustig on the back post that was always going to be dangerous.

Strangely, this tactic will probably help us at the Nou Camp (worked well for Lennon) but needs to be re-thought domestically IMO.

Tierney's cutbacks along the ground into the opposition box have produced quite a few goals now (including Armstrong yesterday). He's doing well.

I agree with this. I think his final ball is excellent. Not just a hit and hope into the box. He gives so many options for the oncoming players. Very intelligent use of ball

I wasn't a fan of Gordon Strachan as Celtic manager but he knows his stuff. He said in the post match analysis that Tierney is the best 1 on 1 defender in the whole of Scotland. He said that it was his defensive ability that enables Sinclair to play the way he does, because he knows that KT will do a grand job covering.

How will it help at the Nou Camp but not here?

Genuine question.

Barça don't put in many crosses and play through the middle of teams. If you set up narrow, like Lennon did in 2012, it stifles their play. In the Premiership we need full backs with more width to stop crosses.

Can hold his head high, never gave up, always wanting to get forward. Cracking tackle on Pique too. Pique looked winded, Tierney jogs away like nothing happened.

He's definitely due a rest, I'd start Izzy at Caley.

Harsh lesson tonight, was up against the best player to ever play the game though.

Hopefully we see an improvement in his distribution as the season goes on, seems quite fond of a punt up the park

Sorry, I thought that was the worst I have seen him play.

He got beat a good few times and his distribution was poor.

A bad day at the office for me.

Defimately could do with a wee rest. Great young player, lets manage him over the next season. We and he will reap the benefits in years to come.

I thought he was good tonight. Kept going and trying against a steamroller of a team. Agree missing a few games would do him no harm though.

I'm not even worried.
Neither am I.

I will be if the manager listens to folk calling for Izzy to get a few games! The man who can't defend and can't cross. Not a great mix for a full back. Tierney will be fine and can get his rest in an easier home game or when it's the cup. Not away to Inverness where we need to win to put tonight behind us. Strongest team possible please Brendan.

Did he? Against Messi and that?

That's surprising.
