A break would be good. His shoulder really seems to be affecting his gait a wee bit.

Give him a rest for awhile. He is struggling with injury. Izzy is good enough for domestic football.

Should be rested for a few games. I'd play Izzy on Saturday assuming he's fit.
Rest Kieran against the Sheep - Pull him out of Scotland squad and then play against the Zombies.

Would do Kieran good and annoy the feck out of the Zombies that will follow Scotland during Strachan's last campaign.

This isn't just on the basis of last night, as much as I think he is decent, he has been overhyped out of all proportion. His passing for a full back s pretty disgraceful, often just lumps the ball up. He will improve and turn out to be a good player but we could do with another left back to take the burden off him just now.

I don't think that's true, it certainly was at the beginning when he first broke into the team. I think his passing has improved greatly, he very rarely goes in for a tackle and doesn't win the ball and he's continuing to take the ball past players as well. Disgraceful is an exaggeration.

Agree that we could be doing with another left back but if Izzy is staying, which it seems he is, then he should be good enough to use rotationally. Right back is a priority though.

Not had a good start to the season in all honesty.

Thought he was really poor last night.

It's not. Watch him whenever he next plays. Always looks awkward on the ball.

I do watch him  Of course it can be improved, disgraceful is too far though.

His passing is "pretty disgraceful"? Is it eff. Had a very good game against St Johnstone last weekend and has been a good threat going forward this season. Not at last seasons level yet though.

Playing at the level he is playing, his passing is piss poor.

I'm not saying he's not a decent player but he badly needs to improve that aspect of his game.

Never seen a Celtic team as narrow in all my life.

what was that all about? At one point , you could clearly see we had two banks of four, about five yards apart, contained in the width of the eighteen yard box, while HBS had two wide men hugging the touchlines and basically having a free for all.

His touch and passing were poor last night, and has been for a while. Technique is not going to be his strongest point, like a lot of Scottish players, but he has many other attributes that should see him continue to excel.

There was always going to come a time when it caught up with Kieran a bit. So many games, the weight of expectation. We now appear to expect that a 19 year old who started last season in the Development Squad to be one of our better and most consistent performers game after game.

If he is carrying an injury, then please give him some rest. If he starts against Aberdeen, I seriously doubt that he can have one. He would therefore become another one of those players that people don't like to criticise too readily because they've perceived he has an injury when he doesn't.

Someone like Brendan Rodgers will know that a kid like Tierney needs managed properly, and that includes giving him the occasional game off.

I'm not sure we play that narrow. He seems to play very narrow though.

Anyway, he's a young talented guy but he's carrying an injury and to be frank an unfair amount of expectation.

Yeah, it wasn't good for the heart, that's for sure.

I was screaming at the TV despite not being in my own house. Couldn't help it

I don't think we will ever play like that again to be fair. That was insufferable for everyone.

Pressure is off now and we can go an enjoy it

He seems to have been carrying that shoulder injury since last season.

They should give him a rest and Izzy isn't exactly the worst replacement.

The kids going to be a star at Celtic and perhaps at a higher level. Last night was a learning curve (for all concerned). He's played a lot of games in a short period - time for a wee rest and let Izaguirre in (unless he gets that move).

Like to see KT develop a little niggle that means he rests over the international break.

He might be suffering a bit from second season syndrome - remember he is still very young and developing, but agreed it might not be a bad idea to rest him occasionally and get Izaguirre in.
