"Temple Bar, Tenerife - Keiran Tierney in for a drink (effin water !) needs to get a life ! LOL! Doing plenty of photos ,fair play"!From the pub ye drank in thread. Good to hear #modelpro
Guarantee it was tap water, none of that poncy bottled keech.
Hopefully not Tenerife tap water. come back about about a stone lighter if you drink that. Disappointed in that haircut he had a 13. Not in keeping with his no nonsense approach and current straight forward short back and sides. Good to see at least he had the black boots back then. Kieran was back in last night - stepped it up to a Coke from bottled water ! Very quiet, polite lad , in tow with a couple of local young ones from here (sensible)- being well looked after !

CELTIC manager Brendan Rodgers wants Kieran Tierney tied down on a new long-term deal. Liverpool, Arsenal and Southampton have all been linked with the left-back. Tierney still has three years remaining on his current deal, but the Hoops want him to sign a new five-year contract. He enjoyed a stunning breakthrough campaign last term as his eye-catching displays saw him win his first Scotland cap and clinch a host of awards. The 19-year-old spoke in May about his desire to commit his long-term future to Celtic. And Rodgers insists staying at the Hoops is the best place for Tierney to fulfil his potential and reach the top. “He needs to be where he is now,” said Rodgers. “He’s at a top club. “If you’re a 19-year-old and you’re playing for Celtic in the way that we will do, it’s the ideal place for him to be. “What then happens in two, three, four years, whatever, we will see. “But at the moment he’s best suited at this club and he’s very happy to be here in the conversations I’ve had. He’s a wonderful talent.” Asked if he wants Tierney tied down as soon as possible, Rodgers replied: “Yes, I think the club will do that. “They have spoken behind the scenes and I am sure that will take place. The club are well underway with that. The kid will be a top player.” http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/682883/Celtic-Kieran-Tierney-Brendan-Rodgers-Liverpool-Arsenal-Southampton-Transfer-Gossip-News

Tierney has shown enough at his fledgling stage of his career to impress Rodgers, even on minimal acquaintance. “I have seen in two days Kieran Tierney, who I will tell you now will be a top player,” said the former Liverpool manager. “He’s an 18-year-old kid and probably before the start of last season no one would have heard of him, but I’ll tell you now – from my experience of working in England in the middle section and the top end of the league – this kid will be a top player.” Asked if he had truly formed such a high opinion after only a couple of days of pre-season work, Rodgers said: “For sure – absolutely 100 per cent he will be. Having worked with young players and lots of them and seen them grow and develop there’s no question about that. “Everything about him stood out – attitude, he’s 18 years of age and quicker than I had thought. I had only seen him on the telly in highlights and clips but when you see him close up, he’s a super athlete, strong, quick, balanced, aggressive, wonderful left foot, will get better, still has bits to improve, defends, hard to beat, wants to go forward, good size, and personality. “He needs to be where he is now. He’s at a top club. If you’re an 18-year-old player and you’re playing for Glasgow Celtic and you’re playing in the way that we will go to work, it’s the ideal place for him to be. “What then happens in two, three, four years, whatever, we will see. But at this moment in time he’s best suited at this club and he’s very happy to be here in the conversations I’ve had. He’s a wonderful talent but it’s not all about the talent. “You also have to have the personality to succeed. That will determine whether your talent is wasted or not." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/06/23/rangers-sign-niko-kranjcar-while-celtic-manager-brendan-rodgers/?
