I suppose he can't fail to have seen how well Andy Robertson has done this last 12 months. I'm sure KT wants to play in a CL final as well.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
He's a good left back. shampooe midfielder but.
If that's the level were shopping at then were dammed if Tierney goes, Whilst he would provide adequate cover for KT signing him to replace gives me the fear However i don't exactly trust Lee Cogerton to provide a suitable replacement either given his track record. Wait, so you think Shinnie would be "adequate cover"?
So you actually agree entirely with what I originally wrote, ya banger.

He’s got nothing left to achieve at us. If he doesn’t go and make the money available elsewhere he’s very naive.
We just better invest the fee into the team.
He's got 10 in a row to achieve and plenty of other opportunities to earn loads of money. He's only 21 ffs Exactly. I'll be gutted if he leaves.

Not impressed by media attempts.... eh whit?. Our manager spoke at length on the issue ffs. If the club didn't want a media frenzy why didnt Rodgers simply state Tierney was going nowhere, end of? Beyond belief. Done the same with Dembele.
Really don't understand it.

No bids for Tierney and none wanted
Paul674th July 2018 Despite reports to the contrary, Celtic have not received a bid for Kieran Tierney and are not impressed by media attempts unsettle the squad. Kieran recently signed a six-year contract. Celtic expect the player to be an integral part of team building over the next several years. Having only just turned 21, they also expect his value to continue to appreciate.
Celtic do not have to sell and do not want to sell. We are a well managed club with money available to fulfill strategic plans. We have recruitment plans and budget in place for this summer; we are not planning to recruit a first choice left back or spend an unexpected windfall. This attention is unwelcome and a distraction from Champions League preparations.
I also hear Kieran’s agent is relaxed with the player at Celtic and not agitating for a move. I suspect Everton have let their trusted outlets know they are interested in the player, but it has not gone beyond that stage.
Share.
It was Brendan who gave the effin interview. If he just said naw there would be no speculation. So Everton leaked their interest, Rodgers gave a lengthy non-denial on it, but it’s the media who have been stirring it up.

To stop the rumours all KT has to do is put it out there that it's nonsense and he ain't going anywhere, considering his family and friends and him will be getting hounded about it and he isn't coming out and denying it tells me there is something in it, would love to know the real reason behind it though.

Share. Sorry to be a cynic but that statement still gives the club plenty of scope to sell KT. The club expects him to be an integral part of the team but that doesn't mean that things won't change very quickly in the other direction. Nor does the club need or want to sell but that doesn't mean that KT won't be sold. That's an oblique way of saying that any move will have been generated from the player's side. Best of all, we won't spend an unexpected windfall. In other words, if/when he's sold, that money will stay nestled in the bank.

Done the same with Dembele. Really don't understand it. I really rate Rodgers and hope he's here for a long time, but he knows exactly how it works with the media. You can see him in absolute control in press conferences, rarely giving the opportunity for an unwelcome headline.
So, if the club didn't want speculation about KT (or Dembele in January) then there was a really simple way to avoid this whole circus.
If it turns out Tierney isn't leaving, that's fantastic news. Rather than from CQN, I'd like it from the club in the same straightforward English used in last week's interview.

Beyond belief. Yeah, exactly. Rodgers' comments really set off the alarm bells. The club could have nipped this one in the bud last week but chose not to. Bizarre.

He's only 21 ffs He could also become a legend and club captain. If he goes its a decision he will make based on finance which is fair enough.Chris Sutton won the league with Blackburn but i’m pretty sure he looks as favourably at his time with Celtic as much his time with Blackburn.
