Looked scunnered with some of the non triers during the game. Great potential and hope he isn't lost in the managerial change

Like to see Izzy playing in front of him- probably be a good combo.

The same Izzy who can't cross a ball to save himself?

Make him captain. No ifs or buts, he is the best leader we have, give him the armband now.

He doesn't need the added pressure. He's already acutely aware that he's the only saving grace of this season for a number of fans.

A vampire Izzy would better than most there. Certainly better than saps like GMS

Let's not put too much pressure on this boy.
He's only played 2/3rds of the season.
I would like to think being a big Celtic fan he wants to be here for a few years at least..

Yes, http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/apr/19/football-transfer-rumours-harry-kane-bayern-munich-real-madrid

2nd last paragraph on the page.

If there is any serious interest in Tierney Lawwell will sell sell sell, got to have the cash in the back for that £1m a year pay package.

As far as Tierney being young and needing a rest, I completely disagree.

His performances since being a regular haven't declined; in fact I would say they have improved.

As physically and technically talented as he is, his greatest asset is his mental fortitude. If he was a wee bit immature I would agree with resting him, but this bhoy feeds off the pressure and can handle it.
He is still developing as an athlete. There is no justification to over push him physically. He may think that he's able to handle it but that dosen't mean his body can.

If we make him play game after game now in addition to any International time he puts in with Scotland without giving him the time to properly build up his stamina alongside proper rest then we will risk shortening his career.

It makes sense to rest him on a regular basis for the next year or so in order to have him able to play at the highest level possible into his 30's.

If the boy's up to it then play him every week - if he continues to progress at this rate then he'll be long gone before his 30's anyway...
He's not up to it, so rest him. No sense in turning him into another Forrest or Maloney.

I agree the bhoy is a good player who can only get better. Re him being captain...I would say it's way to early, give him time to mature.

Interestingly, I saw a great photo of him during the penalty shootout. Standing firm, and looking very captain like. And annoyingly, I now cannot find said photo!

Anyway, we need to keep such a promising player and one with his heart at the club.
