Nothing should get in the Way of 10IAR.

Selling our most beloved and important players is an incredible act of self harm.

Hope Everton get pumped into League One and he's greeting on the front page of the Record in 3 years.
Don't think he'll be caring. He's obviously going for the money.

WTF with giving the lad a hard time?

He's a fan that has been nothing but outstanding for us - and has just gifted us upwards of £25m by the sound of it.

There isn't anyone here that wouldn't take the money being offered to him. If not they should be having a wee look at getting their effing life priorities sorted out ffs.
He was staying forever 8 months ago, and has sneaky effered his way out before the CL qualifiers. This is eff all.

There are plenty here who wouldnt take the money as they are getting ridiculous money to fulfill their dream. Especially to join everton. Maybe a bit different if a big club where in for you , but even then many celtic fans would stay at celtic.

Have Everton got people in Austria or is this just done on the phone, no medical, nothing?

Amazing how quickly other teams can do their business and it takes us a month to activate a pre-agreed deal.

Shocking state to have the defence in this shambles ahead of the CL. Biggest gamble yet by a serial gambler. There's no way that they wouldn't have known this was in the offing so to not even get back up, which we needed anyway, is a joke. All we've had is a guy over for a chat who's not kicked a ball in years.

A defence against Rosenborg (assuming that we make it past the Armenians) of Ralston, Calvin Miller, Ajer and Simunovic - Hendry might get into the team at the expense of Ralston or Jozo if the latter has another fit of pique a la Astana.

Worse than Ronnie asking Stokes to fill the lone strikers role in Warsaw and Maribor.

Utter stupidity

There are EIGHT and a HALF weeks left until the transfer window closes plus nobody really knows what transfer deals the club are pursuing (that’s as it should be !) ....

... and yet we get “weaker team” and "poor window” plus unfounded criticism of the club’s management and supposed targets etc., etc. ...

... have a word a few of you .. just because it’s not happening quickly enough for you doesn’t mean it’s not happening ! And i bet you opened your Xmas presents early !

You judge a season at the end - not before the first game’s played. Likewise with the transfer window - wait until it’s closed and then comment on how good or bad it was.

I think some people are disappointed as they thought that he was one of us, I have to be honest I've seen better players come and go, at the end of the day Celtic will still be here. He's a young man, it's his profession, how he makes a living. I'm pretty sure most of us have changed employer at some time for more money, football players are no different

IF he's for the off, that's our double treble squad severely mangled.

IF we are truly after McGinn, stop effing around with unsettling bids rather than ones that get the deal done.

I have been a Celtic fan for long enough to know we never, regardless of who is running the show, do it the easy way.
Why? It is hardly desperate we get John McGinn in.
You'd best ask Brendan Rodgers.
I'm sure if he is desperate for McGinn we'll pull out all stops. After all, if Tierney does go there is a spot open for a Mr Celtic.

I'm not saying I agree with this interpretation necessarily but a cynical reading of what Tierney might have done doesn't make him look good.

He's been given an extended - and presumably improved - contract, then gone and found an English-based agent, and then pushed for a move for the first EPL team that shows an interest. Cuts a stark contrast from the guy who said he could be a one-club man, making cameos with the Green Brigade and saying literally days ago that he was here for the long term.

From that perspective, if someone is a fan with a genuine emotional attachment to their club then they don't leave at the first time of asking. Surely the chance of ten in a row, with time still left to try England after that, would be a better way to bow out?
