With no comment from Celtic or Tierney to quell the speculation I'm less and less confident that Tierney will be playing for us again in a competitive match.

Id hope KT knows that his development is as valuable to us as it is to him and that we'd do right by him, as mentioned above. He still has room to grow and hopefully doesnt find things at the club too suffocating.
It is an odd one though.

I'd expect most domestic opponents at Celtic Park to follow the Steve Clarke model, which won't really help KT develop his skills as a defender.

Games like the PSG maulings probably don't help either.

If he goes to Everton he's not the boy I took him for. Absolutely no issues with him going to another club if that's what he wants to do, but Everton ffs.
We established a few pages back that the big six in England haven't signed a player from Scottish Premiership since Hutton 10 years ago. They'd rather buy him from Everton for twice the price next year.

I’ll predict a full page ad explaining his departure and thanking the fans. Maybe even that billboard on the Expressway.

The supposed expert Premier League Transfer Consultant seems to just be a guy who does a podcast. Must be an expert, then.

(Is this the same guy?)

Aye, you still don't think anything is happening, right enough.

Give us your take on what's happening. I'm sure it's going to unique and quite riveting.

Will be absolutely feckin gutted if this boy leaves now. I don't expect him to be here forever but if he is going I can only hope that the board have taken Everton to the absolute cleaners.

Keiran can't quell transfer speculation any more than he has. Are we meant to issue statements after every hun facing article on our players?

This imminent bid is it coming by plane, post, carrier pigeon or what?

Twitter have him getting offered 85k per week rising to 145k in 5 years

This is one of those stories where a rumour has started and everyone and their dug wants in on it to add their tuppence to it

Tierney will be here for 10iAR and I would not be surprised if it is beyond that

He will be a millionaire many times over pulling on the jersey he loves

You have been consistent on this to be fair - convinced it was gospel from day 1 and been worst casing it since

Why Everton? Why only £25m? Why the rush? Something stinks. Just not sure yet what it is.

He can quite easily quell the speculation.

This “speculation” hasn’t originated with the media.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Yes they have history in the same way as Queens Park. They were big more than 60 years ago. The claim to fame over the last thirty years has been a touchline stand that makes the ends at Hampden seem close to the pitch.

There just the latest English team with owners who make a mockery of the idea of running a club prudently.
It's not really in the same way as queens park though. Wolves have one of the largest away supports outside the premiership, they could easily be as big as a lot of EPL clubs.

Are they bigger than say Bournmouth or Burnley. Yes of course. But they are just the latest Midlands club (see Leicester, Villa, WBA and Brum City previously) with a foreign owner who are splashing the cash.
