I'm starting to think BR statement the other day was to prepare us for what's coming.

It's customary for buying clubs to notify potential sellers of a bid before they put it in. I think that might well have happened with Everton.

If the money's right, we'll take it. Steady people, this might be a tough few weeks.

My feelings as well. I was sure Kieran would be here at least for the ten until I read Brendan's interview.

KT will be here for as long as Brendan is, in today’s current market, 25m wouldn’t get his left leg, could only see him leaving this summer if there was a bid of over £35 million. Even then a just don’t see him going anytime soon even if the club do accept bids

I thought that too. I think KT has given indications he's open to a move

In saying that the exact same comments were made by BR about Dembele in Jan

although what Waddell says is in essence correct, would he and many others in the scottish media be writing such an article if Tierney played for the huns ? I don`t think so
The same Scottish media that were reporting a transfer story last season involving a fictitious fee from a fictitious club for a sevco "striker"? Of course they would. It would just be spun very differently...

"Sevco Set To Cash In On Wonder Kid in World Record Scottish Fee..."

I’m on holiday and have been deliberately avoiding news from back home , but a fellow Tim in the hotel told me about the Everton interest and the Brendan interview . Scunnered me a wee bit if I’m honest. But we have good people in charge and and they’ll make sure we get the best deal possible, if indeed he intimates he would like to have a go down south . Personally I think he’ll stay no matter who comes in ( at this moment in time ) , but will go eventually . He’ll go with my best wishes

Internet rumour :

KT changed his agent last week to a new one , same guy that represents Brendan Rogers and Gareth Bale . Seems to think this is somehow significant.
Anyone shed any light on if this is true or just balderdash ?

PS don't shoot the messenger !

Didn't KT say himself that he was going nowhere at all? He's just signed a long term contract, and has every chance of writing himself into the club's history by taking us to ten in a row. Even after that point he's still a fairly young guy

Lots of us thought the same when Kenny went to Liverpool but got over it. If KT leaves, I'll be mightily pissed off, but I'll get over that too.

BR said yesterday he had a word with KT before the game, to settle him down...this is more than just a rumour without substance.

Probably cos of evertons media games and leaking to everyone in the press. Everton are definitely trying to play a game here. Probably trying to unsettle him before putting a bid in nowhere near the 25million that's been reported.

I don't see the attraction of Everton other than money. Be a bit disappointed if he ends up there.

There will be better clubs than Everton interested.
