Why not? Imagine those big games against Watford in front of 11,360 indifferent fans on a Monday night? :rocker:

Tierney has repeatedly hinted at being a one club man and even without that hes on a 6 year contract. Don't know why anyone even pays attention to this pish.

Ben Davies has been their first choice most of this season and they're strongly linked with taking Shaw from Man Utd - a player who Pochettino has worked with and speaks highly of. KT to them sounds like a load of tabloid pish to me

If Tierney was a mercenary player, Bournemouth actually wouldn’t be a bad stepping stone for him in the sense they play good, positive football and he’d get experience of playing against top players every week without being under intense pressure. Would be a similar learning curve to what Robertson had at Hull. But I’m certain he’d see it as an enormous step down from Celtic and something he wouldn’t even entertain at this moment.

Tierney is arguably already a better left back than Robertson...if he leaves us it will not be for Bournemouth

I said he wouldn’t leave us for Bournemouth. If Robertson had gone straight from Dundee United to Liverpool, I don’t think he would have been a success. The two years he had at Hull were vital in his development and he’s now, rightly or wrongly, considered one of the best full backs in the EPL. People scoffed when Van Dijk left us for a second rate Southampton team but that decision also worked out well for him. I agree it’s all academic though as Tierney won’t be leaving anytime soon.

If this is the only offer on the table, he'd be crazy not to take it. Move into the EPL shouldn't be dismissed and would put him in a better shop window for a move to bigger English club.

The boy's too good for the SPL and overstaying will only damage his long term development.
