Great goal today.

Will need to leave us to reach his potential.

Hopefully not for a couple years yet.
Will he bollocks.

He has the potential to be a Celtic legend and that will never happen elsewhere.

Ned, there seems to be a flood of these comments recently, who are these people? - some might ask>
Possibly a connection with those calling for Brendan's head.

With Broony retiring from internationals Tierney must be the outstanding candidate to be Scotland captain. Can’t think of anyone in or around that squad who is as influential.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Not saying he should or will and wouldn't be his best position but KT could probably do a job there.

He seems the type that could play in a few positions. Maybe he might get 'Baled' and moved further up field?

I think the original point was taking Brown's leadership role rather than position anyway.
I think he will end up in centre mid (a few years away yet) and captain (that's obvious though lol)
He’s never a centre mid in a million years. Why in eff would you move him from left back?

He's the fastest player at the club according to Rodgers. I think we can put to bed the argument about whether speed can be coached/improved because he most definitely has got a lot faster.
His run for the goal against the sheep was

Running style comes into play here as well, Forrest for instance is lightning quick but could be even faster as he wastes a ton of energy by moving his arms side to side as he sprints.

They do say Celtic is the best club to play for if you wish to be a Celtic legend ;)

Jesting aside, you are correct.

Would love it if we sang "Kieran Tierney, Kieran Tierney..." over and over to the tune of Panic by The Smiths. The "hang the DJ" part, any one else?

I don’t doubt McLeish will probably go with Fletcher but Tierney is still the only outstanding candidate for the job. Fletcher isn’t a leader and he’s been a complete let down for Scotland for the majority of his career.

He’s never a centre mid in a million years. Why in eff would you move him from left back?
The example would be Davie Hay, who started as a full back but went on to be an excellent midfielder.
KT is probably the closest thing we have on the books to the box to box midfielder that SB originally was.
He is probably the only other player we have who might actually kick people back.
When Broonie doesn’t play we are far too easily bullied by some real dross like that Hun McLean from St J

Tierney is nowhere near good enough on the ball to become a CM.

edit

That sounds harsh. You know what I mean though. He's got a lot to learn before being discussed in that position.
