I'm 46 & I don't mind admitting that I absolutely effing LOVE Kieran Tierney.
Such honesty & humility is so very rare in someone so talented.
Aye, but let's get back to talking about Kieran Tierney.

I'm afraid KT is a rarity in modern day football. Pity more young players aren't more like him instead of being money grabbing, loud mouthed arseholes.

Love KT. That was just brilliant from him. Most professional footballers never really get the chance to properly support a team because they are always playing hence this ‘lack of loyalty’ nonsense. He’s an exception. You know if he wasn’t playing for us he’d be following us everywhere.

BRENDAN RODGERS believes Kieran Tierney is such a throwback even his taste in MUSIC is old school.

The young Celtic star is in charge of the team’s iPod in the changing room and team bus on the way to matches.

Tierney is enjoying a warm weather winter training camp with the Hoops in Dubai

Rodgers said: “I think of him at the back of the coach with his music on.

“It’s real old school music, too — he plays Fleetwood Mac, everything.”

Rodgers has been delighted with the way KT has performed at his best so consistently.

He added: “I remember when I came in people were talking about how he couldn’t last a game and was having to come off.

“But if you look at his shape now, it’s great.

“I took him out of games at various points to give him a rest and changed his position to take some load off him, putting him in a back three where he doesn’t have to run so much.

“But he had a brilliant 2017, both in terms of his performances and his growth as a young player.

“He’s just a fantastic young player who is developing all the time.

“Listen, it’s hard to keep going up and up. There comes a time when it’s about sustaining it and that’s what’s been great.

“He’s sustaining his level, while there still is improvement in him. That’s what he works so hard on.

“His game will develop through maturity anyway, and he’ll find that calmness. But tactically he’s improving all the time.

“You look at his body and his shape. He is fast, strong and aggressive.”

Don't listen to Rumours wee man.
Gary Ralston beat you to that one. "The Rumours about Rangers going into administration have been around longer than anything recorded by Fleetwood Mac."

Brendan - "Kieran Tierney plays Fleetwood Mac and everything."

Good composure shown by Kieran in interview with Chris Sutton there. Handled it well, and in now-traditional shorts and short-sleeved top

I wasn’t buying the fatigue excuse for the overall team for our performances in December but I think it’s fair to say that it affected KT as an individual. He looks revitalised after the break.

He’s on the end of a shocker in almost every game. Hard as nails though.

Kicked all over the park again last night, though not as bad as some of the clogger team's we play. The bhoy just gets up and gets on with sticking it to them. He's a good lad, so he is

Targeted tonight. One challenge is gonna come in and injure him at some point. No protection by the hun Thomson either.

Terrific 1st half though.

Fantastic going forward tonight. He is absolutely rapid.
He is noticeably faster than when he broke through 2 seasons ago.

Can't teach pace though

Was really impressed when he chased after the hearts player after we lost possession to win the ball back and left him for dead. My only worry is that some clugger is going to doo him as he's getting feck all protection from the refs :nono: :nono:
