Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Indeed. He has played an awful lot of football since the last winter break, and without much in the way of a rest period between games during that period; two halves of each league campaign, two runs to a Cup final, six Champions League matches and a handful of games for Scotland. All while playing a role that is both physically demanding and among the most important for Celtic. I believe some of the downturn in Sinclair's form can also be attributed to Tierney not being as explosive - defenders can double up on Sinclair, because Tierney isn't there to make space.

A break from playing and some uninterrupted training will do them all the world of good, Tierney included.
KT in Tenerife this week with his dad
Then off with the team for training .
Bumped into him last night and my boys got their picture taken with him.
Nice guy.

Some numbers on our young fullback, if he's looking tired, its because he is

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">1. Including Internationals, Kieran Tierney has played more minutes (3,607) in 17/18 than any other outfield player in any European top tier league. That equates to 40 full matches in 169 days, or 1 game every ~4 days since July. Only Craig Gordon (3,780) has played more minutes.</p>— Moravcik67 (@Moravcik67_) <a href="https://twitter.com/Moravcik67_/status/947531197617451008?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 31, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">2. The 2 outfield players closest to Tierney are Scott Brown (3,220 minutes) and Mikael Lustig (3,137 minutes). Valon Berisha, of Salzburg, is the first non-Celtic player on the list, with 2,984 minutes - 7 games worth less than Tierney has played.</p>— Moravcik67 (@Moravcik67_) <a href="https://twitter.com/Moravcik67_/status/947531198808711168?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 31, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Compper will provide cover when Kieran needs a break.

Those stats are pretty amazing. didn't realise we were playing that much more than others. KT definitely needs managed better, as does Broony, Lustig.

There is something from the BBC Gossip page about the SFA being in negotiations for Scotland to play a friendly against Peru. In June and in Peru! No rest after the season ends. It is a long season and Scotland are not playing in the World Cup so what do we do? Play a meaningless friendly halfway round the world. You couldn't make it up

I'd hope every single Celtic player would be asking to be excused for it.

Is there a link to the full list anywhere online?

Stevie's Hoops Bar is very popular and many players visit it off season.
KT was hanging about Irish Fiddler/Temple Bar 2 yrs ago - drinking water & coca cola so the AI band is a waste !(Unless his Dad's double scooping  ) :suspect:
Absolute gem of a lad in public !
