Rotten today. Needs to be more composed, certainly not the only one lacking in it today though.
He was fine. Defending himself against probably their best player. The ma who is supposed to help him phoned in sick the day.
Tavenier? He is pish. We made him look like fecking, Cafu today.
He is fairly pish. He is still their best player. I'd struggle to choose our right back over him at the moment, right enough.

Tierney was crap today. One of his worst games for us. Needs competition.

All their best chances came from his wing. Been stinking for a while now. Understandable given the amount of games.

Yep, poor again today.

Pretty minor point but I think he might be the worst player I've ever seen at taking throw ins  Takes him about 30 seconds to pluck up the courage to finally throw it to someone.

Not allowed to throw the ball to forwards seems mental the times we have an overload
of players we throw the ball back the way .

Throw-ins have been a bugbear of mine all season. Think it’s more to do with players not showing than the taker though.

Struggled having to cope with two opponents today. Once Sinclair went off I thought he upped his game a wee bit.

Again, some utter pish on this thread. Tierney wasn't poor, crap or stinking today. He just didn"'t create much going forward. Defensively, which is the main part of his job description, he was very good.

What a bunch of effing idiots and panickers we have on here.

Deluded.

His lack of composure on the ball got shown up again. He wasn’t good defensively either.

Not his best game but ffs he is 20 and played 35 or so games already....people forget that about him.

He looks tired to me and rightly so...anyone to blame for his performances not at the level they should be is the manager as we have no fecking cover for the bhoy. Harsh but true. We have no replacement...literally.

Different to others playing pish is we have replacements in other positions.

Teams have got wise to his runs up the line - and are pinning him back.... its affecting the whole team as he was a regular outball for us.

Ffs ya bunch of effing idiots. Was Tierney shown up today? No. Was he exposed defensively? No. Was he targeted by the opposition? No. Did he do as well as he normally does going forward? No.

Does that mean he was poor? No. Does it mean he had a stinker? No.

Does it mean you are lacking any sort of objectivity? Yes.

Although he wasn't at his best today and hasn't been for a wee while; I don't think he had a stinker.

One thing I have noticed about him this season is that he keeps just playing a simple pass backways. Rarely seems to want to carry the ball forward anymore, even when the space is there. Maybe this is under instruction from the manager but its frustrating to see.

You’re the one not being objective. You have him above criticism. He was poor today, it happens. How anyone could think he was fine today is beyond me. Anyone claiming he did fine today, simply knows nothing about football.

Caught up the pitch and badly out of position for taverniers chance and Morelos sitter. Offered little going forward. Poor day for him.
