I don't believe Tierney will leave, not saying he won't fancy a crack somewhere else at some point but for once I think we can be reasonably confident he is gonna give us 5 or 6 years.
Definitely, with a player from overseas it's always inevitable they will leave for the EPL but Tierney is homegrown and a passionate Celtic fan, he won't be going anywhere.

I loved how after we lost the goal today and we were setting up to kick off he was bawling out his team mates to get back into the game.
Although not the same type of player as McStay he is the best we have produced in his attitude and determination to do everything he can to make Celtic successful since the Meastro

He's been great this season. Great to see the passion and determination he brings to the team. Future Celtic captain if he keeps it up.

Just like McGeady and Moloney.

I can't wait to see the look on his face when he scores his first goal for us. Would love him to ping one in against Sevco!

We got a few years service out them. Any player with an ounce of quality these days will stay for 2 seasons at most. If anything that backs up my point

105% tackle success rate. The wee man would run through a brick wall for celtic. If he gets his first goal vs huns i genuinely think he'd explode

McGeady was in our first team for 6 years and then we got between £10-£13m for him, it also wasn't off the back of him being in the press every 3 weeks talking about the English Premier League.

Maloney was in the first team for 7 years, it is only the quality of O'Neill's front players that led to him featuring much less than he probably would have. He also came back rather than bouncing around the English PL bottom half & lower leagues picking up fat paychecks.

I loved that when the silly barney went on, Tierney just was at the far touchline taking a drink and not getting involved. No time for the nonsense.

It didn't make sense to me when we were linked with Hendrie at the Hammers. Now Tierney is being linked with this team or that team and getting his Scotland debut.

Now the Hendrie link makes sense.

If he was to be sold it wouldn't be him knocking on any doors asking for a move. Just really enjoying watching him develop right now.

Is it not because Izzy will be going in the summer?

I just cannot see us signing a young player like Hendrie as back-up. I also can't see that kid signing for us to become back-up to arguably the biggest talent in Scotland. It doesn't add up.

Who knows but the indications are that come the summer we will be looking for a left-back.

As regards Tierney if he keeps this up he will go south. The money difference is just two great nowadays. Personally I think anyone who thinks we can keep a top player for more than two or three years is dreaming - regardless of where that player is from.

If we could get £10m for him, his bags will be packed, whether he wants to go or not.

How can you win 5% more tackles than you make?
I know he's good but he's not that good
