Roasted off Martin Boyle. Criminal for the first goal.
And didn't do too much going forward. Time for a rest midweek.

Does that make it untrue?

KT sometimes seems to forget he is a defender first.

Tierney could do with being rested, but our decision to go without a 2nd first team left back (not Calvin Miller) has made that more difficult than it ought to be.

Needs taken out the team for a few games. Rested / dropped, call it what you like but it needs to happen soon.

Pish today, but no biggie. He’s been brillliant over the duration, and everybody loses form now and again. Squad management really letting him down now Emilio’s gone and he has no real cover.

KT has had a wee drop in form but when you consider that in every game he plays he has had to cover the whole of the left flank himself due to Sinclair almost always dropping inside (was better at sticking to the wing today funnily enough) it could also be that the lad is feckin knackered, no coincidence that he was brilliant for the vast majority of last season when he had an in form Sinclair alwyas looking to get the ball from him and link up with him which has hardly happened this season.

We tend to forget he's still quite young. Plays almost every game and could do with a rest. We should have an acceptable stand in but w don't.

He’s suffering from having eff all cover. His form has most certainly dipped but we literally have no one else so he has to play.

Hayes or Miller?

This is beginning to annoy me. It is well publicised, and discussed by fans, that Brendan's tactics means Tierney plays almost as a wing back. Lustig's lack of mobility, and admittedly his ability to play as 3rd CB, added to Sinclair pulling inside and doing little tracking back leaves Tierney with a monumental shift each and every game he plays. While he is idolised by the fans on one level, there seems to be very little understanding of just how much is being asked of this young player who plays nearly every single game.

He does have a difficult role, aye. The 1st goal was the absolute basics but. He’s still far too guilty of just emptying the ball. That’s not to do with his role. He still ha a long way to go.

Today was his 36th game of the season. By the time we get to the winter break he'll probably have played 42 games. That's a ridiculous amount of football to play in 5 months.

He's still a young boy with great talent, and even greater potiential. We have to accept that he might have poor games, or spells where his form dips. Same for Ntcham.

It's incredibly poor that we don't have natural cover for him.

It was the same with Izzy but he was shampoo today and hasn't had a good game in a while. Even if it means Hayes starting I'd rest KT against Accies.

Don’t expect people who don’t understand football to understand this post

Sold himself a wee bit for the first goal but I thought he did ok today. Certainly wouldn’t say he was “roasted”.

Maybe we expect too much of him. He’s a kid putting a lot of mileage on the clock and generally not getting any defensive help from the player in front of him.

Play 3 CHs with two forward thinking midfielders wide and KT doesn’t need to play.
