People think Robertson is better than him going forward as well. FFS.
If the new Scottish manager has half a brain he would drop Robertson and play KT in his best position.
Robertson has been class for us tbf. Tierney doesn't look like the same player on the right.

It's typical Scotland though we bring through 3 or 4 quality left backs and we've got left winger Anya and Steven effin' Whitaker as our options at rght back.

I would definitely keep Robertson as a starter and play him on the right as he cannot be any worse there than the current crop of right backs and would hopefully be more comfortable than KT.

Regardless of how Robertson has done, Scotland would be a better team with Tierney playing his natural position. If both have to play, then move Roberston to left-mid where he will also be less of a liability at defending.

No such worries on the right where Forrest can do the work of two defenders.

Yup.

Sky's tentacles of deceit stretch far and wide. They really are a sleekit mob.

They TRY to manipulate everyone with the PL bullsh@t rammed down your throat and greatest league in the world. 2nd greatest is the Championship according to them :ffs:

KT is far superior to Robertson who is a good full back all the same.

Robertson is a terrible defender. The fact he can't get in ahead of Moreno is famously inept at defending tells its own story.
Tend to think Premier League likes a foreign sounding name if that does not sound to silly.

Scottish players are mud down there and as bad as Moreno is Robertson is better than him from what I've seen which honestly speaking is not a lot it is only for Scotland as I don't watch to much English football on TV.

Fair shout but it was Gordon Strachan we were dealing with ...does not do changing players, systems very well..or when he does it is usually 5 games to late for Scotland.

A legend.
World class.
Capable of playing for any team in the world.

All of these mentioned about Tierney since last night.

We need to calm down a bit. He's a cracking wee player who's only going to get better but ffs people don't half go overboard with him.

The Legend status is inconsequential right now, there's too much work to be done, a discussion for another day in the future otherwise the topic will be getting revisited weekly which doesn't seem right for a twenty year old, he's only getting started, let him play.
Aye, best we stop discussing him on a forum he's never head of in case it goes to his head.

In case it goes to his head? Not that, it just gets a tad repetitive the discussion, he is breaking new ground regularly with his performances, I think that can be enjoyed in the present, the Legend chat is down the line surely?

If he continues to develop as he has over the last two seasons then he'll by far be one of the best FB's in the world, hope he stays with us forever. An absolute immense talent and seems to have his feet planted firmly on terra firma!

A true Celtic hero in the making!

Can't see how we can keep him as the lure of the lucre on offer down south will surely turn his head.
We just can't compete with that.

I admit that I'm caught in two minds about whether I want him to stay with Celtic all his days or go away somewhere else and fulfil his promise.
I just keep on thinking that Paul McStay may have been able to play for a few years longer if he'd left when he had the chance instead of getting clogged every week by the carthorses in Scottish football.

Will never understand this kind of thinking. The most important thing was that Paul McStay played for Celtic. Not that he went to juventus so we could say, aye, that's how good he was.

Bizarre stuff.

Why cant he fulfil his promise at Celtic?

Why would you want one of our best players to leave?

Genuinely confused by this perspective.
