He'll stay all his life. Celtic can give him everything he'll ever need and one thing that no other team can offer, for all the money in the world, and that is the chance to become a Celtic legend.
He’s already a legend.
He's played less than 100 games.
Achieved legendary status after last season surely?

I will be absolutely gutted when Tierney leaves, he has the most potential out of anyone in the squad right now even more so than Dembele perhaps.

That said I think he will leave at some point and will likely end up at Manchester United or another top European club. For the benefit of his development for the national side I want to see him fulfil that potential.

That said, if he sticks two fingers up to Jose and the rest then give him the armband and a lifetime contract.
Don't think you'll be far wrong, Manchester United are heavily scouting him.

People think Robertson is better than him going forward as well. FFS.
Robertson became a better player the minute he signed for Liverpool in some folks minds, Sky were predictably pushing Andy as the star man throughout the recent international fixtures. The reality is different, Kieran is on another planet.

To add; our sole left back can play right back, centre half, wing back, winger and probably central midfield though we've yet to see it. Time to give him a decent deputy.

Yup.

Sky's tentacles of deceit stretch far and wide. They really are a sleekit mob.

They TRY to manipulate everyone with the PL bullsh@t rammed down your throat and greatest league in the world. 2nd greatest is the Championship according to them :ffs:

KT is far superior to Robertson who is a good full back all the same.

Played in a legendary team, but to be one of the legends of the club, a real icon*, then he's a long way to go.

He's Celtic daft and I think that would matter to him more than anything. As Scott Brown has shown, you can do well financially and stay where you're happy, and still raise your game right into your 30s. He doesn't need to go anywhere to get rich and he'll never have the bond that he has here.

Scottish Cup final was an iconic moment alright. :worthy:

If the new Scottish manager has half a brain he would drop Robertson and play KT in his best position.

Still got that game recorded and I watch that trophy scene if I need a bit of cheering up.

It's a great opportunity but you have to look at Mourinho's record of not trusting young players as a bit of a red flag. Hopefully Brendan can get that across if they do come in soon.

“There are no words to describe the Celtic fans, they are there every game singing away. They were there in numbers in Munich and we heard them over the home fans, they come in their thousands. Honestly if I wasn’t playing I’d be in the Munich square with them. They mean something special to me.” - KT

Sums the man up. A future captain and legend for sure.

Don't know if they were Celtic by birth but they do fit criteria of a few of them. Not that it matters to be fair as per guys gone in days passed that are Celtic legends who never supported us..

Personally speaking its me in a Celtic top if I had a much much much more about me as a player so forgive my misty eyes  ....Love the young guy!

Celtic legend in every way for me.

He wants to stay for 10. Will probably captain us to it. After that his legendary status will be indisputable. He can leave for Barca then.
Why leave a team that's just won the Champions League?

The Legend status is inconsequential right now, there's too much work to be done, a discussion for another day in the future otherwise the topic will be getting revisited weekly which doesn't seem right for a twenty year old, he's only getting started, let him play.

Robertson is a terrible defender. The fact he can't get in ahead of Moreno is famously inept at defending tells its own story.
