Having watched Danny McGrain and Kieran Tierney I have to say Kieran has the potential to be better than Danny. He is as good a defender as Danny, but also has goals in him. We are privileged to have him. For me he should be our next captain and on a deal which always makes him the highest paid player at Celtic.
I would be interested to know what age you were and at what stage of Danny's career you saw him
Danny was without doubt the best right back in the world in the mid seventies
I hope Kieran goes on to be as good though

Really? Really?
Only me that missed Kenny Misser going to hospital with a broken jaw then?
These desperate counts get more ridiculous every day
Any video of the Scott brown and Kenny miller incident? What game was this?

more like the miller two footer on armstrong - that again the referee gave nothing.

By the way - KT - if you are reading this; I had a great few days in Lisbon, at the ground, with fans, singing songs and watching the cup final. Im not ashamed to say that I shed a tear when you lifted that cup, ya wee swine that ye are! What a bhoy!

It was one of the 5-1 games apparently. They could have narrowed it down a bit.

I'm 62 this year mate and followed Celtic all through Danny's career. What I said was that KT has THE POTENTIAL to be better than Danny who was indeed the best right back in the world in his day. I think as KT seems to be able to score goals too he might even be better. I hope that in 15 years time we can still look on two players who spent the best of their careers at Celtic and judge then.

To be fair to Mccann, Miller does look like he's been smacked in the chops by a gable end.

The point I was making was that you stated that Kieran is as good a defender as Danny,I just don't agree with you

The Brown/Miller incident was more of an experiment on Broonys part. Yes he stick his elbow out but he did it to see if Kenny Miller actually runs about with his eyes closed like we all suspected. If he was looking where he was going Miller would have been able to change direction and wouldn't have ran into Browns elbow.

Tierney wasn't charging about the pitch making noises like a Formula 1 car so I don't see how his incident can be compared to Millers.

In the Brown incident all the momentum came from the bin bag and in the Tierney incident all the momentum came from the sheepo thug. Exactly the same so they are.

That's it in a nutshell. Miller saw Brown's arm and made sure he was hitting it. Tierney only saw Stockley's arm when it was smahing into his jaw.

I've now got a mental play of Kenny Miller making wee screechy brake noises as he rapidly slows to try and change direction, as he makes one of his many aimless head-on sprints into another inconsequential area of the pitch.

There was that time when his brakes didn't work and he ran full pelt into a linesman when he was warming up as a sub. Huge boiled egg on his head as he finally came on and staggered about the place like a drunk student.

No retrospective action against Stockley - Record.

Hardly surprising.
