The thought occurred to me yesterday that - twice now he's done that to the same player. Is he being sent out on to the field with some kind of instruction to do that?
Apparently his manager warned him against it before the game but to no avail. He needs put back into his box and if his correction isn't coming from the touch line, it's going to have to happen on the pitch. As I say, I'm not advocating that they should deliberately do it but if someone were to deliver the message and stiffen the bastard I'd probably burst into applause.

Now, what sort of manager would do that?

He'd have to be the sort of carrot who'd been a player like that himself. A real ratbag. The sort of carrot who'd f*ck another guy's wife...
I'd hate to think that in this day and age a manager would send his players out to try and hurt opponents, but I cannae help but wonder with this Aberdeen team. From the venom filled "face off" with the huddle in the league cup final to Stockleys assaults, there is a thuggishness about some of them that goes beyond just being "physical"

Like a team of huns, right?

It's a team created entirely in McInnes' image: a carrot's team, for carrots.

Had a Celtic player "done" Stockley the way Brown cemented Ian Black in the LC Semi a couple of years back, that would have been what is known as "rough justice". There is always next season, if he is still at Aberdeen.

Players like Stockley bring absolutely nothing to the game. Big physical strikers eg Drogba can be very effective but such players bring skill laced with physicallity. Stockley brings only thuggery.

I said to the guy I was watching the game with that I was starting to detest this mob more than the huns and he looked at me as if I told him the sky was green. A bunch of whining hacking bastards. Their fans are carrots as well

The "face off" and the assault on KT yesterday - you need a Plan C, Mr. McInnes, neither of the aforementioned worked.

I think he'll chuck it and go down south if an offer comes in. He knows he can't beat us.

Anyway, enough about those pumpkins. This is the Kieran thread. Apologies from me for taking it slightly off topic.

If he carries on dishing it out somebody will give him some back. Like you I wouldn't condone it, but if the guy doesn't change his ways and continues to injure players somebody will give him a bad injury and he'll only have himself to blame

Delighted to hear BR call it as it was in his post match interview. Pittodrie? That can happen when a player is jumping for the ball. Yesterday?
The players and management of Celtic know exactly what happened. The officials should be ashamed they let it go.

Feck the SFA. If their refs can't or won't protect our players, KT should get his operation, if he needs it, and take the summer to recuperate in time for the qualifiers. Who cares about the England game?

This is the second time in as many weeks where two of our players, KT yesterday and Paddy getting taken out by the hun, could have ended up with career enders. I don't think either player made enough of the two incidents. If KT had gone down in a heap yeterday, it would have given Madden a serious decision to make. The Brighton keeper should have walked. :nono:

If you watch Stockley he makes his whole body rigid and swings round to catch Kieran. He is one nasty piece of work, a bastard and a fly man.

The calls for someone to seriously injure Stockdale were presumably alcohol-induced silliness.
In 3 out of his last 4 games he's seriously hurt Tierney twice and was sent off for recklessly swinging elbows in two separate occasions at Ibrox.

I completely get that accidents can happen, it's a contact sport after all, but 4 seperate occasions in his last 4 games? That's a wee pattern. He's proven that he's a complete thug with very little footballing ability and the sooner he's out of football the better. I would say it's only a matter of time before he seriously injures someone, but we've now got a player that's lost a few teeth, and needs an operation to fix his mouth and jaw because of his thuggery.

:worthy: The sight of Kieran Tierney lifting that trophy yesterday was just fantastic. An iconic moment, in a season of unforgetable moments.
